Not sure how I'm feeling right now. Gundham and Celestia keep one lining me no matter what I try. I'll keep pestering them until they break.
Chihiro I still really want to vote out badly, and she's still saying she doesn't really want to talk game. But I doubt I have the power to do it yet.
Sayaka and Nagito might be my lifelines here. Teruteru and Kyoko I've got things started at least.

AHHHHH. So busy talking when I can to people. Confessional getting a back rest at the moment apparently. I haven't really talked any game at all with most of them yet, but I'm going to slowly work my way in hopefully. It will be much more natural and less weird if I talk about game stuff after we lose immunity. For now I'm just hoping they like me enough and don't view me as an easy boot, because I have some of the least connections here going in.
The main reason I'm still worried is I have no idea who is at the bottom right now. And that's usually a sign it's me.
At this point, I don't really feel like I have the luxury of voting people out. I would want Chihiro going if I had any semblance of power. At the moment, all I'm looking for is a large stable alliance. I haven't had one all game yet. I don't care who's in it. I just want to be in it. I'm honestly still on the fence on who I like the most on the tribe outside of Sayaka and Nagito.
Kyoko never uses capitalization or new paragraphs and it's annoying me more than it should.
Gundham feels kind of distant all the time like he's saving me for last in PM responses.
Celestia is always apologizing for giving short PM responses.
Teruteru is kind of depressing in a way because he talks a lot about how he doesn't really do anything anymore because he's a loner.
None of these are breaking enough for me to not work with them. And if anyone offers me something I'll take it in an instant. And I'm not just ripping on them in my thread because I can. I'm just carefully considering the negatives because that's more important to know in an alliance partner than the positives usually.
The player on the other tribe that I hope goes home is Ibuki for sure. She blindsided me once and Mikan even said she never really liked me to begin with. I don't really see why Mikan would lie about that, so hopefully Ibuki goes before we have to meet again and make it all awkward.
That Korekiyo fellow is the mole for sure.

Also, oops, I thought Gundham already knew I was in a clique with Nagito and I mentioned it to him. And now Nagito mentions he thinks Sayaka has loose lips and told Gundham. lol

My revenge redemption arc is coming though. I just realized I'm way too liberal with what I say. Nagito is probably right. (Even though he doesn't think he's talking about me) I should keep secrets better. At least only two people know I have the fake idol though right? That's a secret I can keep. |

Chihiro mentioned our feud might be actually keeping us alive longer because people are saving it for later.
If I could make an alliance where we agree to pretend to dislike each other to get people to keep us around, that would be great, because then I could unironically target her while I pretend I'm only pretending to target her and she'll be okay with it.
For real she'd probably be my fan fave if I was a spec but no, I'm not doing what I think the specs want. Especially because I don't think specs exist.

Why does Gundham take 2 hours to respond to my short messages. Who's he talking to? I see him online all the time. This is why I cancel evening plans. I can stalk people to see who stick around all day but don't send me messages.

WOAH guys. I just went down memory lane and remembered my LSG history, and I just figured out what one of my biggest flaws is.
I make it way too obvious who I'm close with. It's great for getting loyalty with specific people, but brutal for getting targeted.
Like all my troubles in previous games have basically been because I'm too obviously close to specific people.
This game, I got in hot water having Kirumi being too obviously close. I can see myself going that route where I link myself as too loyal to Nagito to other people, because I've been kind of linking myself with him. I'm like literally doing what Keade was doing only not quite as egregious. (which is ironic because I got angry at Kaede for doing it)
I don't want to ID spoil, but my previous LSG I also had a pretty similar flaw.
Huh, now that I figured that out, how do I fix it?

I know your ID (KingdomAces) and I'm always a big fan of yours. Really, I think you could have pulled something off if you didn't wait until 2 hours before deadline to try to form a coup. You just have to be more proactive and act a little earlier. You have the charm to do well. It's not because you aren't social. You just need to be more active. I'm sad you're gone because I'm waiting for the day you do really well, and you're flaws in your game aren't that big.

Like, once we started talking game, you were great. If you did that earlier, I think I wouldn't have been so sketched out by you initially. If you do that with more people, you won't be an easy vote.

I actually had a really good heart to heart talk with Chihiro tonight.
Here’s the thing, I’m still angry at her in the context of the game, and that’s always been the extent of how far my anger has gone (maybe a tiny bit further for a bit but I got over it pretty quick). But after tonight I think she has potential to be one of my favorite people outside the game.
But strategically, I still can’t see the logic in why she felt it was safe to leave a player blindsided, angry, and isolated right before a swap. Also, she’s someone who I have an excuse no matter what happens to backstab. This is a game where you could lose a bunch of win equity if you do too many backstabs, but just because Chihiro went against me first, I now have the morale high ground if I stab her back. (Sounds terrible as I type this, but it’s probably true?). No matter when I try to vote Chihiro, I’ll have a justification for it. And in the endgame, having clear justification for a vote is a good thing to have.
And holy shit, I almost posted this in a wrong thread. time for bed

Celestia seems to be the big player. Super tight with Gundham, Kyoko, Nagito. (Like tight enough I wouldn't feel comfortable mentioning her as a potential target to any of those 3.) I'm really hoping me targeting her as an ally as fast as possible felt genuine enough and that she views me as someone who picked her primarily and is her loyal pawn desperate for attention. Sayaka and Chihiro probably aren't as close to her as the others, and I suspect if we lose again, Celestia will go after one of them (almost definitely Sayaka before Chihiro) unless she goes against me. I felt like she was kind of phoning in her responses to me, so I'm hoping this dungeon crawler thing will endear her enough to me. I really don't see anyway to target her right now. It was mainly her that got the ball rolling on Teruteru. Chihiro I've probably talked about enough in this confessional. Her social game is also really strong. I've never really heard anyone else (outside of Kirumi) give her anything less than the utmost praise. Even Kyoko and Celestia told me it would by wise to zip it when I mentioned I wanted to vote her. Her strategy still seems a little suspect and she never seems all that into challenges. It's not like it's bad, but I'm not sure how far ahead she's actively planning. She seems to be living vote by vote to me. (Could be very very wrong of course) Going to bed so finishing these later. |
