So I know sometimes classical music gets lost on people, and it does take a certain amount of preparation and background to be able to appreciate. Instead of sharing classical stuff with you all, I was wondering if you wanted to hear some of my favorite modern piano pieces!
Kyle Landry is so good. I look up to him, and aspire to be that great one day. <3
This is March of the Dreadnoughts by Masashi Hamauzu! It comes from Final Fantasy XIII which Nanami-san should be familiar with! Just hearing it is enough to put a smile on my face, no matter what kind of day I'm having! ♬
I think two is enough for now, but maybe I'll post more later! ♪

I wanna share another piece with you all! This is from a pianist named Dax Johnson, and he's from Spokane, WA! Unfortunately, he died a decade and a half back, but his work is haunting and beautiful to this day. You see, he played a custom piano with a fourth pedal that allowed him to actually pluck the piano strings and play pizzicato, for a beautiful, yet unexpected sound! I hope you enjoy. <3

I'm surprised if you were gonna pick a Final Fantasy song for piano it'd be that one.
When I need to make the material plane fade away I often turn to this guy:

I mean, March of the Dreadnoughts is, in a vacuum and separated from the rest of the Final Fantasy series, is a piece with such hope and wonder, it's got a really bright sound and it makes me warm up inside.
I think Chiaki would agree with me!

I guess I just prefer the bittersweet nostalgia of Zanarkand. uh this is probably the nerdiest conversation I've ever had P.S. How do you know Chiaki wouldn't agree with me huh??

Sorry...But you're both wrong. The best FF song is Clash On The Big Bridge..Not sure how that would work on a piano, though.

I tried to learn how to play that song once.
I figured, well, I don't know how to play piano right. Like at all. All I know is "D" is in the doghouse. But you ever go somewhere and there's a piano there for some reason, and then someone randomly sits down and starts playing? And everybody's like whoa they're amazing, even when well no not really but they say that, and uh yeah. I wanted to be able to sit down at the piano and do that, so I found the music somewhere and printed it out and tried learning it bit by bit, one hand and the other. Turns out though that song has more notes than you think and then like, actually knowing how to play kinda helps so I didn't get very far.
There was one time I remember though when this guy sat at a piano when we were having a dinner with a bunch of people and all he did was play the first couple bars of Fur Elise over and over and over and I just wanted to bop him with a screwdriver.
