Monaca's Rankings of the Players in The Game:
LEAST LIKELY TO MAKE THE FINAL MERGE:
26-25.
K1-B0 & Angie-Both of these players were ones that specs were pulling for early on. They both have bright personalities and are very bubbly. However, both suffered defeat from being the early vote outs on small tribes. Their chances are slim, but there exists the possibility they could return. For now though, it's difficult to say that they would fair any better. K1-B0 might slightly have an edge over Angie if he returns as he seemed to rub fewer people the wrong way and was only voted out due to inactivity. I think he could do quite well if he returns. Angie has a shot, but maybe less so because of how she rubbed people the wrong way with her EXCELLENT rp of her character. It will be interesting to see if these two can re-enter the game any better than before.
24.
Toko-Aside from Yasuhiro, their amazing RP of their character is just not quite cutting it with anyone else. It would be a miracle if they survive this vote. Without much of a confessional, it's difficult to base anything to place them higher. Maybe they will surprise me, but right now I see them as dead in the water.
23.
Teruteru-Given he just entered the game today, he's already doing better than Toko. However given our little bit of info, it's difficult to say how good or screwed this person is. I will leave this one up to time to see how it all plays out.
22.
Korekiyo-Of the three replacement/subs, I think they fare the best. They seem to be social, interact, and seem willing to consider options. No one seems to have a negative opinion of them and they helped out during the challenge. Overall it's difficult to figure out standing, but in comparison to the others, I would fairly say they have the best shot at going far in this game of the new peeps.
21.
Mikan-Seems to have lost a lot of steam after the first tribe. However, on just about any other tribe I don't see her doing well. Her confessional is brash and she seems not to be getting along well with others. The only thing she has going for her is that she's been around longer than others and she knows what it's like to survive a TC. Aside from that, Sayaka seems to be the only person she's interacted with all game that actually wants to work with her. I do not think Mikan will get much farther without a swap or personality change switch up.
UNLIKELY TO MAKE THE FINAL MERGE:
20.
Himiko-Suffers a lot from a lack of activity. However, she isn't invisible and does contribute. In addition. she's on a strong tribe and that seems to be carrying her far. Her low confessional count makes her a hard person to read, but she could be playing a UTR game that takes her far with the right swaps and merge situation. I would consider her a dark horse at this point and if she makes the merge, I would think her odds of survival to go up astronomically.
19.
Kokichi-Is literally one challenge from going home. Maybe Kaede can get some sway, but this guy is hanging on by a thread...the blue/green alliance that was strong may not hold after he leaves.
18.
Chiaki-Hyoko seems to be the only person truly and actively trying to work closely with Chiaki. A lot of others seem to have a lack of activity with her. In addition, she doesn't seem ultra active and wasn't participating much in the challenge. Maybe if she ups her social game and activity people will seem more likely to want to work with her, but right now I see no evidence to suggest she will be a strong contender to make the final merge.
17.
Sonia-People want to work with her. And that's really all I see going for Sonia atm, she seems pleasant and she seems friendly, but at the end of the day, those she thinks she is strong with just don't really seem to value her as a top ally. Whether this is due to activity or due to a lack of connection, I just don't really see Sonia as a frontrunner or strong contestant to make the end at this point. She will likely last a little while longer, but likely will get dumped for stronger connections unless she is seen as a lackey or goat.
16.
Kaede-Has pretty much misread the entire situation on her tribe. Yes she helped in the challenge, and yes she does have a great chance at going far if she reunites with Shuichi, but the minute Kokichi goes, I feel like Kaede won't be far behind unless she can pull strings. Having multiple confessional entries stating it's difficult to talk to Kaede make her seem less of the social butterfly we see in the dining room and I think it rubs people the wrong way. If her tribe goes to multiple trials, I fear she isn't long for this world.
POTENTIAL TO MAKE FINAL MERGE:
15.
Leon-Extremely difficult to read. Seems to connect with people and make an impression, but a lack of confessionals make it nearly impossible to tell what he is really thinking or what his plan actually is. He seems to have a strong bond with Makoto which could carry him far, or be his achilles heel if he is seen as too close to him. Overall it's difficult to gage him, but he seems to connect strongly with others and via others confessionals he seems like he would be a strong social player to potentially to the merge. HIs clique is a dud, so it is unlikely he will be as well connected as others are in a final merge.
14.
Kyoko-Too trusting. Mistakenly thinks she is in control. Others likely see this and are using her to go farther. She will be used until she is no longer useful and then likely dumped. That being said she's in a strong position, not because she is in control, but she is "closely" aligned with those who are actually in control. She is a useful number and she has proven herself a loyal ally, at least to Celeste. She will be kept, but whether she goes to the merge or farther than the merge remains to be seen. Has a strong clique, but might be the weak link of that click if she can't figure out how little control she actually has.
13.
Ibuki-A very social person. She is into music and shares that knowledge openly. Right now she is in a good position, however she also has been seen to be a bit of a wild card. Whether people who ally with her now stick with her through to the merge and beyond remains to be seen. She often has typos and others think she is "drunk" a lot. If she can reign it in or get a strong alliance, she has a decent shot, but a lot of that is out of her control. Her clique is doing her no good at this point.
12.
Nagito-Is in a decent position. Has a couple good allies and is someone who seems extremely smart via his confessional. A very strange dual opinion on this one though. Some people seem to like him, others seem to think he's a bit of a flop. This may or may not hurt him in the long run. With the right swaps, challenges, and votes, he could find himself in a very good unique position in the merge to make a move to further his game. On the flip side, these numbers and votes could go the opposite direction and he could find himself as an early merge boot. It is plausible his strong clique will carry him far, but it's a bit of a mixed bag right now.
LIKELY TO MAKE FINAL MERGE:
11.
Sayaka-Is in a phenomenal position right now. She's the swing vote in a majority alliance. She has strong allies in people such as Gundham and Gonta. She also bridges the gap between them and Leon and Makoto. I think she's taken her position and done wonders with it. However, if people catch on to what she is doing and expose her for playing all sides, she could find herself in a precarious position. If she's careful, she plays her cards right, and gets in with the right people, I predict she will make the merge in a strong position to go far. How far depends on her ability to stay as the swing vote.
10.
Hiyoko-Clearly a good player. I don't care much for her, but she knows how to forge connections and get the ball rolling. She is proactive and likely won't sit back and let the game happen to her. I happen to think she has a brash personality that may hurt her the farther she goes with "nice" people, but if she can keep up a facade and not be the same person we see in the confessional, I think she has a chance to go far. It depends on her allies and how strong the bonds she forms are. It also depends on if she becomes the villain/antagonist I predict her to be in a merge scenario. It will be interesting to see how well she does.
9.
Celestia-Probably the most socially dominant person in the whole game. I fear she is an easy idol target in the merge though. If that happens or she is blindsided, I think anyone she is close with will tumble after her 1 by 1. However, should she avoid being an easy boot, I believe she is a strong contender to go far, but I think a lot of people will target her the farther she goes.
8.
Akane-Another person I feel is dominant and a little less social than Celestia. I worry she will be another person who will be blindsided at some point for being too strong socially and challenge wise. If her bonds are strong, she could make it very far and this tribe is showing just how strong she really is. For better or worse.
7.
Chihiro-Very under the radar and a tad lacking in confidence. However, what she lacks in presence, she makes up for in personality. People seem to have nothing but nice things to say about her and she seems well connected. She's also someone who is active and clearly plays well with others, without being threatening. If she keeps her game up, I believe she has the chance to make FTC. However, she will need to do something in order to stand out in order not to just be a goat. That will be her challenge in the merge, which I have little doubt she will make at this point.
CONTENDERS TO MAKE FTC & THE PEOPLE I AM WATCHING CLOSELY TO POTENTIALLY WIN:
6.
Kirumi-This may be unpopular with some, but I think Kirumi has put herself in quite a nice position. Her strong bond with Shuichi and her ability to see things strategically make her a bit of a dark horse to go far. She also seems to understand the importance of social bonds and working with the right people to get her farther. Though she is not everyone's instant favorite, she seems like the kind of person who can walk the line, so to speak. I think she's the perfect combination of smart, strategic, and social enough that she could be a sleeper hit this game. Her strong ties to Shuichi from her first tribe, and Makoto from the clique make her connected with a very strong group of players.
5.
Gundham-A very strong player and a lot of fun to watch. With the right people at FTC, he seems funny and personable enough that he could run away with the show. Will people let him get there though? That remains to be seen. If he can foster a strong alliance using his ties on his current and former tribe, he could be a leader and force come merge time. I am keeping my eyes on him as he is universally liked and seems to be playing the game quite well.
4.
Makoto-A smart player. He is also very social. He has the legacy advantage, has a killer confessional, clearly thinks through his options, and people like him. If he can play the field and keep his allies safe, I think he has a huge shot to build a strong FTC case and win the whole thing. I truly believe Makoto has what it takes to win and seems smart enough to anticipate things before they happen. Also has ties to Kirumi from the clique and they could gang up together for a very strong group if they all make the merge.
3.
Shuichi-Smart. Strong. Social. Shuichi is someone who may rock this game and no one will see it coming. He's very strong and a lot of people probably see this. Kaede already noticed it and I'm sure others will too. He might be in a bit of trouble from being so public so early on, but if he can reign in tight allies and play the field, I see him doing very well and being a FTC contender. His clique also is very strong and all seem to want to work together. All in all, he's a mega threat to win.
2.
Yasuhiro-Everyone loves him. Everyone wants to work with him. No one sees him as a threat yet. No one suspects he is considering options and playing sides. I think he is social and smart enough to detect bullshit and change his mind if he thinks it will benefit his game. Hands down my personal favorite and is very very good at this game. I would be VERY shocked if he doesn't make the merge.
1.
Gonta-Smart and Social. He has the best RP persona in game right now and it's not so offensive that he's off-putting. He's got a good head on his shoulders and seems like the kind of person everyone will want to work with. Especially on this tribe, he has come into his own and is blossoming as a player. I believe he will be a delight to watch and will be someone who has the potential to win. Sayaka has caught onto this a bit, but it will be interesting if she actually tries to do anything about it or not.
And that concludes the list! Feel free to debate any of my points
