That's a good observation. Maybe our taste tester choked or got food poisoning that made them become really sensitive to taste? Drag Racer already has one so that's good Its not really a requirement though, wording is probably the most important here I also in general think word flow and general structure is more important, and as stated we do have options that cover this still.

I think it's a bit heavy yeah, you want something more simple and with an almost unbelievable result coming out from it, not that flooding the town isn't.
Gertrude has always been in love with the sky! Should would spend hours every day just watching the clouds change shape. She loved studying books on weather patterns and learning about how small changes in one part of the world could cause huge changes in another. At about 14, Gertrude felt sick to her stomach just before a massive thunderstorm hit her town. Shortly after, she got sick again predicting yet another natural disaster! It didn't take long before Gertrude realized her sickness could actually be used as a blessing in the world of meteorology!

I don't know if that fits the theme of the others? There's just something that seems off about it, I'm not sure what.
I like that Ito's name has the accent, I feel like that's something that people would assume is real since it doesn't appear in other names. Maybe? It could go either way. The first sentence seems a bit short though I guess.
I do agree that we should probably have some male characters somewhere so the difference isn't so huge. Since the scores are by ranking they could plan something out if they think certain ones can't be fakes.

If we gender-swap Jacqueline, he could be Jacques Dechamps, Julien Deschamps, Humbert Deschamps, Sylvain Deschamps, Yoan Deschamps, etc

Here's another edit of this one. I noticed a lot of the mod ones had exclamation marks so I rewrote a bit. Name: Himari Itō Talent: Ultimate Poet Quote: "Poems are just written dreams." Bio: Himari is a very shy girl. She grew up preferring a quiet life of reading, writing and dreaming instead of toys, games and parties. She started writing short stories at an early age, and as she got older she found she really enjoyed poetry. The way she could express herself with not just the words themselves but their shape and flow was mesmerizing! In an effort to be supportive, her parents began secretly submitting some of her works to poetry journals and magazines, hoping the recognition would help her come out of her shell. When Himari found out she was furious, but by then the damage had been done: her poetry was a hit and her name was being discussed as a future Poet Laureate. Would it be overdramatic to add in something about her running away from home as a result of her anger? I was wondering if that could fulfill the tragedy theme

First sentence might work better as "Himari, a painfully shy girl, grew up preferring a quiet life of reading, writing and dreaming instead of toys, games and parties." or even just "Himari, painfully shy, grew up preferring a quiet life of reading, writing and dreaming instead of toys, games and parties."
Just...cuz the writer clearly loves their commas.

She started getting an interest for fashion and her self confidence skyrocketed, until she was offered a contract by the world's biggest Plus-size model agencies. Now she's a role model for all the bigger girls in the entire world.

We have a decent blend of options for sure, but I also wouldn't want to discourage any flash in the pan ideas that might work. It's lovely that we have a good selection currently, someone just might randomly hit a groove and come up with a 10/10.
The taste tester one should be updated to:

When Himari found out, she was furious, and burned a nearly finished book of haiku. But, by then the damage had been done: her poetry was a hit and her name was being discussed as a future Poet Laureate.

Ok that didn't end up being about running away.

Name: Reo Nakamura Talent: Ultimate Archer Quote: "If it's not a bullseye, it's a miss." Bio: Reo grew up the youngest of 5 brothers. In such a rough and tumble household, he had to learn how to hold his own early. Being smaller, there was no way for him to stand up for himself in a physical fight, so he resorted to hit and run tactics. His deadly aim with small rocks and toy trucks quickly taught his brothers to leave him alone, but Reo had come to enjoy pelting targets. As he grew up he graduated from throwing things to slingshots and eventually to the bow. As a teenager, Reo began entering archery competitions, earning many first place finishes and aiming to eventually make an appearance in the Olympics!
This is probably a dud. I just noticed the last few of the sample bios were kindof silly and also we needed a boy.

Taste Tester is quite a positive one if that's okay, when a lot have a more negative tone. I'm still leaning towards making that one a boy. But I do like it in general and support that one going through.
Drag Racer looks good too.
Poet might be too general. Archer is an interesting idea.

Ok I'm more solidly back for a little while.
Duplicates are going to be insanely difficult to predict but we need to find a good balance of believable choices, as well as ones that wouldn't be selected from anybody else including the moderators.
