I'm going to pretty much ignore the entire FTC, let me know if there's something actually worthwhile that could change someone's world view.

I thought Shuichi's speech was good! It's given me a good opinion of him when I really haven't been paying that much attention to him all game. It's not *spectacular* but I think it's miles better than the other two actively misreading the jury/selling their games poorly.

Celestia asks an open-ended why should I vote for you question, and Gundham, who betrayed and voted out Celestia, says to Celestia: "I think plain and simple you should value our relationship above all else." A little bit tone deaf there, considering, you know, he uh... didn't.
He then goes on to say at least he told her he was voting her out while the other two didn't. But... the other two didn't even vote for her. ???? Celestia was the most likely vote I thought he had. Yikes.
I'm not sure how that's really the key reason why she should vote him instead of the other two anyway? Because when he betrayed her, his closest ally, he told her up front... is that really so impressive that it should in any way be his response when asked why she should vote him over them? Just write a couple paragraphs about how you were best friends during the game and how your game is her game and about how much you love her dude, it's not that complicated...

Gundham has some good points in his speech. It is at least clear where he stands. I think his speech should just be the part where he lists why he did the 7 qualities of a winner and why they didnt. I still need to read the summary so maybe thats good?
Nagito was average. He has some good fishes for specific votes, and he describes why some things are important (like why spending time to find an idop is good) butits not super telling. Its too short on his stuff and too much a summary.
I havent read all of shuichi yet but i liked his opening paragraphs.

Goddammit Gundham don't make me look bad or I can't support you anymore
Especially given I got that it was Jackie Chan and then you made us ask a fair few more questions because you didn't believe he'd won an Oscar

I like gundhams summary so far i think it should probably just be his speech because now its
1. Defines what it means to be a winner 2. Game summary 3. Explains why he fits his definition 4. Makes a new definition and explains why he fits them 5. Addresses each jury member
I do hope people read it because it does have all the makings to be a good argument.

I’m actually rooting for Shuichi but I don’t really like when the jury does the thing where they post at the finalists stuff like “we all came in voting for x and you’re not changing any minds so far” or w/e. It’s kinda mean, kinda demoralizing, and kind of a spoiler in a way, if that makes sense? I like the players having to sus out how people are feeling instead of just having it flung at them.
I do like Akane’s post just saying “I, personally, don’t see it,” because one, that’s just one player speaking for themselves, and two, because everyone has been acting sort of bandwagonny. I’m glad someone is a strong enough personality to openly object to the mysterious consensus that suddenly took form out of the mist during the Mikan boot. Shuichi would be a very good winner and is doing a good job but these players are all very close and the win shouldn’t just be handed to anyone. 👍🙂

I liked Gundham's response to Akane too! I think he's going to get some votes even though I still think Shuichi has it. But I think Gundham is doing better than Nagito at this point which I didn't really expect coming in.

I think it's between Shuichi and Gundham for the win. Maybe Nagito steals a vote or two? I feel like he's doing very little to convince people to vote for him. Yasu's trying to get him to own his game, buuuuut Nagito is sorta side stepping just a hair.
In the end I think it'll come down to Shuichi and Gundham though.
Gundham's having a decent FTC all things considered...his speech is REALLY hitting him where it hurts though...

This may be a closer battle than I originally thought.

I do like that I see advocates for all three players here to an extent. This isn't one solid winner dragging two goats to the end like I've seen in the past

Im behind in Qs but i definately see gundham rising. I thought shuichi was a shuin but gundham really picked up some awareness and started pushing back.
I havent seen anything so far that makes me think nagito has a shot but it sounds like he does!
I understand hiyokos complaint about the f3 but as someone who watched instead of played, i have to disagree. While celes would make a great winner (akane too, or mikan, or...) i think these three were very important to the narrative of this game and all three would be worthy

I feel like Nagito intentionally held himself kind of aloof from the other players during the game, and that that's having its impact now. He did always seem to be puppeteering Shuichi to some extent, from an observer's point of view, but if that manifests itself as, "Shuichi talks more in-depth to a bunch of people while Nagito hides behind him pulling strings from the shadows," and then they both make the end together, well then, Shuichi really was out there doing more from the POV of most jurors, and those jurors are probably right to prefer him. That being said I could see Nagito snaring a couple of votes and thus opening up the win for Gundham?

if Gundham does win, it may be Akane's last second flip on Yasuhiro that makes the difference. Seriously. It's funny because nobody ever knew wtf happened there during the game portion of this! but now in FTC it's coming out that Akane did it and credits it to Gundham's arguments, and Gundham has begun leaning on it as a signature move to demonstrate he wasn't as passive as he's perceived, which could totally end up rescuing him from his detractors.
