Hey, boys <3 I just wanted to say that I'm real proud of all 3 of you. I feel like I was lucky enough to get to know all 3 of you well, even when we were on opposite sides of the vote and I really enjoyed playing this game with you. That being said, I'd like my first question to be for all 3 of you. I read all of your speeches multiple times over, but since I got to spend so much time with you guys, I knew most of it. So I want each of you to pitch to me why you specifically deserve this. I see value in all of you, so what do you think I personally should value in you over the others? You guys should know me well enough by now to know what kinds of things I want to hear

You guys should know me well enough by now to know what kinds of things I want to hear I think plain and simple you should value our relationship above all else. I've already gone on posting about how important you were to me, both for strategy, and as a friend. Voting you out was the hardest thing I did, but guess what, I was up front about it. You had been discussed as a potential vote for a while before (kind of hard for you not to be) but I wasn't going to make that decision until it was necessary. Look at Nagito, he was the vote for you on the kyoko vote. Even if that isn't true, did you believe it when I said it? Yeah, you probably did. The fact that you think he'd throw a vote on you without telling is all you need to know about that relationship. Meanwhile the round you went out, Shuichi wanted to just blindside you and not tell you you were a target. I told him "fuck no, we are not doing that to celeste", I'm pretty sure I'm the person who talked to you first about that, but even if I wasn't, I had a huge hand in that. I adored you every second of this game, so of course if I thought I should vote you out I was gonna give you a chance. And you were fucking awesome that round, if Leon hadn't handed Mikan an idol, you would have made it. And even then, in your darkest moment, you still refused to vote me. I remember your last words to me before going, and I'm sorry I didn't say them back (technically they weren't the last but you know what I'm talking about). I may have betrayed you, but I wasn't a coward about it like these other two. So our loyalty, our bond, being head and heart together, that's why you should vote for me celeste. Your vote is yours only, and a victory for me is a victory for you. So I hope you give it to me.

Your vote is yours only, and a victory for me is a victory for you. So I hope you give it to me. Alright, babe. Let's break this down.
Nagito wasn't the vote on me and I didn't believe he was. I thought it was either Akane or Mikan. Especially since right before the vote I got the "oh shit I fucked up" message from Akane about changing her vote. She told me it wasn't her, but I was never sure after that. I believed Nagito. I think I actually discussed with Kyoko that I had felt like you were trying to turn me against Nagito because you kept telling me he was shady and trying to use me as a figurehead to take him to the end. I wasn't sure for a long time if it was Nagito who was shady or if you were just trying to make him look worse to me, but Nagito told me about his idol and was never planning to vote me that last round. I truly believe he would have given me that idol if I hadn't flipped Shuichi. So I just want to clarify that though I was always wary of Nagito because he never pushed anyone to me and seemed to wait for me to make a plan so he could agree with it, I did genuinely believe that he would never vote for me. So that's the relationship we had.
I do appreciate you telling me you were voting me that last round, but I don't think you can say the other 2 were cowards. Nagito was on my side the whole time and didn't have the opportunity to be a coward about backstabbing me because he never did. Shuichi and I were pals, but I wouldn't say he owed me anything and in the end, I did convince him to flip.
I agree that a vote for you would be a vote for my own game, but is that all I should consider? You often whispered in my ear about Nagito just wanting to use me to drag him to the end and let me be a figurehead for his moves, but isn't that ultimately you did? This has a lot of question marks, but my question is: what can you tell me to convince me that you didn't just let other people play your game for you? I think that's a hang up a lot of people are having about a vote for you
You know we're gonna be best friends regardless, but I've gotta make these questions count.

I think that's a hang up a lot of people are having about a vote for you
You know we're gonna be best friends regardless, but I've gotta make these questions count. 1. Whoops on Nagito, missed that part of Shuichi's speech. Still you can read his speech and see that he prefered a final 3 with me and Shuichi, you were not in his endgame plans. He might have told you before final 4 or not (if you are being truthful, he probably was). In which case at worst he was in the same boat as me. (I also think he made a mistake with that vote tbh, he certainly didn't have too much control over shuichi and with games in a similar vein he was likely better off voting you in the hopes of Mikan or Me winning immunity, and voting for Shuichi the next round, but eh, not sure it matters that much). 2. Shuichi didn't owe you anything, but you would likely have been way more upset about that phase if you didn't already know he was targeting you. You got that chance to talk to him because I told you (I think), so yeah, I did do that for you. 3. I think yeah, you should care most about that. You are choosing the narrative of this game, and if you aren't voting for your own game, then you are doing yourself a huge disservice, because you were a fucking BAMF. I know, we talked a lot. Probably not the only thing to consider, but in the end, how can you not pay yourself a compliment with your vote? I know how much you like those. 4. Yeah, I did do that. I mean for the most part I was working with you, but I also did set it up so that you would end up taking the fall if things went haywire. I feel that's just playing the game, and I tried to not stray too much into stuff like that, but I definitely did. And to be fair I wasn't even sure on betraying you until Kyoko went out, not that it counts for much. 5. Also, I think there's a fine line between letting other people play my game for me, and being someone offered advice and making decisions behind the scenes. Like if I hadn't talked to you about a lot of things (leaking to Akane, voting for Akane, all the stuff with getting Sayaka to set up a secret code with you), especially during the week that Kyoko was busy drinking, then there was a huge chance they wouldn't have happened. I took an action, and what I wanted to happen happened. Meanwhile, I am quick to get socially drained, and while I can craft arguments that can get things done (see Akane and the Yasuhiro vote for that, which also played a role in her just not targeting me for a while), it's a lot like trying to cut down a tree with a hand axe. It's slow, methodical, requires very precise strikes and is tiring for me. Meanwhile you are standing there next to me on the same page with a fucking chainsaw, talking to people is your thing you do it a lot and enjoy it a lot. Making big moves is something you wanted to do a lot, so like, for a first choice of tool for a job, why would the job not be given to the person with a chainsaw. And you did a lot of stuff with me or without me, so much that by the time I could get to work on something, it was already done. Also like, I did cover this in the akane thread, but I was active in a lot of stuff. I was active in ensuring Yasuhiro went home over my cliquemate Hiyoko. I pulled a lot of strings with Sayaka in a round that...ultimately mattered little because either her of Hiyoko going wasn't going to sink my chances of getting to the end. I gave you an exact detailed plan of how to argue to Mikan that could have worked (she certainly hadn't seemed to make a decision until late that round), and though you probably would have done it anyway, I suggested the switch to shuichi, while making a move that would not endanger my realtionship with anyone no matter the result and, if not for a few reservations, would have made me the swing vote on the revote. And sure they didn't always pan out as they hoped, but you can't grade an influence on a "work or didn't work" scale. I think that this combined with how much influence I had over you during the game is more than enough reason to vote me. Also, I do have a question. Was there any chance in the round that Sayaka voted Nagito, of you going there as well? Because if there was then like...we totally could have just had our way with that vote, because I (and probably everyone else) knew about that wagon. Also, people call me passive because I wasn't talking to everyone all the time, but if I had done that all the time then well...I've played games like that, I died that way. I toned it down, and because of that, I'm here. One more question from you so hopefully that was a good response for you, I'll likely take a break from answering as I have a lot of thinking to do. Not surprised by these questions though.

I feel like I deserve this the most, because I did my best to keep this game fun and lighthearted, while still giving it my 110% to win. Like I said in my intro, I used to be an extremely competitive person, and I'm surprised people played games with me looking back. After self reflection, I still play with 110%, but now if I lose instead of being disappointed, I get excited for the other person. It's this kind of attitude I try to bring to games. I knew you were playing many sides, and you also tried to vote me out at Final 7. I still cheered you on and barely blinked an eye, (while I of course still tried to think of a way I can actually outmaneuver you). That's one of the things I liked about you, and you also made it clear that you were playing hard, but it was all in the nature of fun. Nagito and Gundham all have that similar approach too, so I guess now that I'm done typing it, it doesn't make me unique. But I don't feel like deleting that. Let me try something else. I deserve your vote, because if you do, I'll give you all the good loot in the D&D campaign I run after this I'd say throughout this game, we were very often voting differently from each other. Actually, outside of a few exceptions, I think we voted differently more often then not. But I always put a lot of effort in keeping our game relationship alive. I think most people by the end of it actively wouldn't be trusting each other. I mean, I even basically told you I was voting Kyoko, and that I wanted you gone at final 4. But it was this honesty that let us always have each other as a back door. (And you gave it to me in return... usually ) I think our successful type of game relationship is enough to specifically earn your vote.

This was actually a really great answer because this is something I've actually been praising you for throughout merge and in the jury. You were definitely a threat, but I always wanted to keep you around and work with you. You and Mikan both were people that I tried to be honest with about where I stood on each vote and I think it's a testament to your social ability that I didn't write you off as someone to take out early because we were on opposite sides. I think our relationship in the game is a very good reason to vote you. We better still do D&D after this! Kyoko was down too so don't let her bail. My second question: is there anything you would have done differently with hindsight being 20/20?

So I want each of you to pitch to me why you specifically deserve this. I see value in all of you, so what do you think I personally should value in you over the others? You guys should know me well enough by now to know what kinds of things I want to hear Things like how beautiful your scarlet eyes are? My real question is how many people's PMs with you are 50% flirting. Don't worry, I got dressed up just for this interview. ...W-wait why are there so many pictures of Nagito in a dress? This isn't what I wanted! Celes, even though I'm going to anyway, you don't need me to tell you I adored you. You were the person I talked to most for the sake of talking to, with the possible exception of Yasuhiro rest his soul. When it came to taste, style or just wanting to tease, you were never boring. That more then anything is why I liked you so much, I adore catty people. I could ask you to vote for me because we were friends and I was loyal. I think a lot of the jury would have the same story, though. You had a lot of friends. So I'll tell you how I saw our relationship and why I think you personally should vote for me. I have no delusion that we were equals. Every time we were together you held a position of power over me, in a duo with Kyoko. I have a lot of faith in my ability to survive but if you'd wanted me out I would have been in deep shit. I wasn't worried about you targetting me because we had a longstanding relationship, but I did have to make sure you would decide it was worth it to fight for me. I was fine with this position because I was friends with your friends. When it became clear how much you valued Gundham I assumed he would get far and adjusted my thoughts accordingly. I didn't always agree to your plans and I didn't tell you everything. You had a lot going on and you didn't trust me with everything. I'd call it more a relationship of respect that we would play the game out and the things we wanted were to our mutual benefit. Despite that I knew I had a better chance to win then you. Power inverts itself the longer the game goes. All the things that gave you power became reasons everyone wanted you all out. It didn't matter how much anyone liked you. Friendship itself became the reason to vote you, people liked you too much. I don't know if you realized how dire your position was. I felt you didn't because you seemed to think Gundham was on your side when the F5 started. I knew the least about what Gundham and Mikan actually wanted to do, so I felt more comfortable if you were still there. But on top of that? I wanted to see your torchwalks. I thought you were right that you deserved a chance to win the game. I didn't want to tell you nothing you did for me mattered. That's the respect I think you deserved. They're right that I wanted to vote you in the F4, but I also had an existential crisis over whether I should give you an idol so who knows what you could have talked me into. So if you're going to vote for me, well you can pick any reason really. I will accept your vote in any currency exchange. My pitch would be that I didn't let the game blind me into treating my closest friends like statistics.

The number one thing I'd do differently, is not make an alliance with Hiyoko the round I voted against her. It would be such an easy and minor fix.
As for other things, that's interesting, because I do think in hindsight, we should have idoled out Mikan instead of Akane in final 6. But, it still worked out in the end, so would I want to change that? Same with the Yasuhiro vote. I would want to go back and not make a deal with Nagito (in an effort to distance ourselves) to split our vote. We could have easily sent Hiyoko home if we just both did what we actually wanted. But, not everything can go 100% according to plan, and the fact there were hiccups that I was still able maneuver around, might be a better path in the long run anyway? Overcoming obstacles is more fulfilling then soaring to the end.
My other thing I would have done differently, is not drop off in activity and socially as much as I did in the Mediators tribe. I overcompensated hard after thinking I started too strong, and in the end, if I just told Chihiro I was the split vote I don't think she would have been so mistrustful of me. (I didn't really want anyone to know it was me, which was why I didn't tell her).

People kept coming to me and telling me you were shady and you were using me as a figure head because you wouldn't tell me your plans, but goddamn did I want you around. The reason I was never forthcoming with you is because I could tell you were waiting for me to tell you what I wanted. What I look for in allies is someone who I can scheme with and when I went to you to try to make plans, you were vague and flipped the question on me, which was a common complaint around the water cooler. So I just want you to know how fucking bad I wanted us to work together, but I could never trust you enough to spill my whole plan to you. Looking back, you were always loyal to me and I wish I had trusted you more tbh. I was looking forward to fighting you guys in the F4 <3 Thank you for saying I deserve to win this game. Also this "My pitch would be that I didn't let the game blind me into treating my closest friends like statistics." is a very very very good line because that is a very strong proponent of you for me. My question here is: Do you think if you had been more actively involved with scheming in the game, you would be doing better in jury right now? Explain why or why not. (I have a 3rd question for everyone, so I'm avoiding making this a 2 parter. But I would like you to explain if you think that perception is wrong as well)

My last question is for all of you, but I'd like to say that idoling out Mikan instead of Akane at F6 has been on my mind a lot lately lol Thank you for answering this honestly <3

I personally think that you manipulating me the whole game as a figure head was a really smart move because I do think I played a stellar game and I think you latching onto me was an incredibly smart move on your part. Especially considering my main plan in a game is to find 1 good ally and tell them literally everything and plan every move together (This game I found 2 <3). I also think that voting me out was the smartest thing you could have done because I definitely would have kicked your ass if I had made it here. The whole game I was worried because I knew that you were more of a logical and strategic character and I knew that meant that loyalty meant significantly less to you than it did to me as far as making it to the end was concerned. So did I know you were probably gonna stab me in the back? Absolutely. Did I think I could guilt you into keeping me? I mean, ya kind of lmao. But overall I kept you because you were my #1 confidant and you were the logic side of all of my moves starting with FF, so what would I do if you were gone. Plus, I saw you as a way bigger threat than me, but I guess no one else got the full scope of your game so I came out looking like a big threat, just like you planned. Idk tbh I don't think people are giving you enough credit here, but Idk how to show the others how integral you were in most things without copy pasting our PMs lmao. To answer your question, you had no shot of ever convincing me to work with Sayaka. I didn't trust her at all. I figured she was waiting for me to agree to go after Nagito and then tell everyone and flip it on me again. That bridge was burned the minute Hiyoko leaked and I never considered rebuilding it. Plus I always figured Nagito was someone on my side. I didn't trust him to vote with me, but I believed that he would never go after me. There are no questions here. Just question marks

My last question for all 3 of you is:
If you were going to vote here, which of the other 2 would you vote for and why? And then give me one sentence on why you'd vote for yourself anyways

Alright so instead of that question, which I'm sure the mods will let me cross out, you all tell me your favorite thing about me? I feel like I've had all my questions answered by reading all the other threads playing catch up this morning, but you guys were cool and I liked you a lot so say nice things to me.
