I've really enjoyed the challenges this game. I've also enjoyed winning a lot of them. So I'm feeling inspired to relive these challenges torchwalk style Challenge 1: Twilight Syndrome Murder Case 2 This was a great challenge. It had it all. Pre-game strategy, social maneuvering, and a challenge where it took a lot of energy to keep track of everything while correctly performing what we needed to do at the same time. With Mikan's tribe not showing up and Kyoko accidentally holding onto someone all game, the two losing tribes lost pretty badly lol, but it was still fun to try to come out on top. It was too chaotic to do anything too cute with our actions like hiding them in Taylor Swift lyrics lol. There was obviously a lot more room for strategy with the alibi and perjury tokens but it went by too quickly to think about it. (You could instead accidentally dump all the alibi tokens on your own guilty guy >_< ) Makoto was still way too obvious about our tribes working together but I don't think anyone outside of pink tribe noticed lol.

Challenge 2: Ultimate Imposter This was a pretty cool and unique challenge. It was a great opening challenge for a new tribe, since it really broke the ice and got to just talk about the bios we wanted. And the decoding of the fake bios was also fun dialogue. I actually sucked at this challenge and it doesn't fall under my strengths, but I can still appreciate it. I should have looked a lot harder to find the secret of 7 sentences. I looked, but didn't consider something that simple. Learning which ones were the fake was like reading a detective novel, where once the culprit is found out, it became so obvious in hindsight. It was hard to know before, but now I can't believe we couldn't catch them.

Challege 3: Follow the Ultimate Supreme Leader I've seen the trick to this one before, where it tells you to read ALL the questions. But it didn't click immediately. I saw the sudoku and went "I'll come back to that". The Mr. Smith question was easy. Once I got to the rebus question I was like "hmmm I have no idea welp" I started scrolling and when I saw the question to rearrange "irtbtlashdiaisamneinssameitn" I was then like "yeah no. This isn't the challenge, there's something at the end" The actual challenge was kind of interesting. I have a feeling I got slightly lucky choosing right words so I could actually complete it without having to redistribute everything and restart. But I played a lot of speed scrabble growing up, so I had a bit of experience. The challenge was a little interesting in that it was individual in the tribal phase. It was a break in the pace which was interesting.

Challenge 4: Labours of Kirumi It was about this challenge that I learned the quality of the challenges was going to remain high the entire game. It was another challenge that had a lot of things involved. Teamwork was huge, Communication was huge, Organization was huge, and just basic intelligence for each puzzle thingy was important. I was debating the existence of aliens while insulting everyone while doing logic puzzles. For someone with ADD and can't keep focus before my mind wanders to a different topic, this challenge was right up my ally! If I lost interest in my task, I'd move to the next lol. It was great to finally win a tribal challenge again as well. It couldn't have come any later for me. Although if I had to nitpick, the one where you had to find 50 anagrams in Monokuma where you had to have different people post it was a ridiculous one. No one would ever get that one lol.

Challenge 💀: The Tragedy of Hope's Peak Academy Another individual challenge. I've seen challenges like this before, and it was pretty fun. It didn't stand out that much, but not wanting to get eliminated and going for the reward items made it fun to crack. How I did it was I had paper, and each clip I'd write down the main thing about it. Only problem was I later learned a lot of the broken up clips had the same main thing. (Like I would write "Nagito/Byakuya/Akane character intros"). But then I'd mix them up with the other video's because it was so similar and I had to go back and clarify and change things. (It's almost like the mods planned for it to be more difficult by having two similar videos) Decent challenge though. RIP Himiko.

Challenge 5: Nekomaru's Team Manager I'm still a little surprised we were actually able to get 3 people from each tribe live. That never happens. This one was fun! The adrenaline was pumping through me. I hate jigsaw puzzles, but they were easy enough (and we could ghost the image) so that wasn't ever really the challenge. Getting the players felt a bit like a crapshoot when we're going against beasts like Gonta, and there wasn't any time to actually plan out the team we wanted to go for after seeing them posted because it's go go go, but that's just a minor thing. Our tribe lost because we focused more on getting all the different positions when we should have worried more about higher powered players. Looking back it should have been obvious in hindsight after the first couple rounds that quality would become more important than quantity. Like all the other challenges though, I found this one fun because there were so many different elements to it. Teamwork, puzzles skills, team planning, searching the forum for an edited period, etc.

Challenge 7: Shitpost This was another challenge that made a lot of sense as a first tribe challenge icebreaker, and I salute the game design again. But yeah, our tribe really sucked. I don't know why none of us considered the fact we should just blast gibberish like the other tribe. I just take pride in my shitposting, and it goes against my nature to spam. So undignified. I still think we should have hid the link in thread full of game spoilers and things like infowars links and other things that would make them lose the will to live. I never did read the spectator shitpost forum. Considering spectators don't exist, it might be worth checking out and seeing what exactly these specs looked like before they went extinct in a tragic demise.

Challenge 8 and 9 Putting these together. They were fun challenges. Password being a bit more fun for me. They're not super unique like the others so I don't feel there's much to talk about though. Our tribe put up super solid performances for both of these, and it felt good to be on a winning tribe. Still surprised Iceland doesn't have really tall mountains compared to other places. Still don't know what an Iron Chef is. Monopoly is still a terrible game.

The maze of the alphabet. It took me a minute to figure it out. It clicked immediately when I looked at the end and saw a zebra and xylophones nearby. I didn't quite beat Gundham in time, but I lost time being careful and methodical in my path at the beginning. I assumed there would only be one way through, but it seems like it really didn't matter that much which route you would take, you could find a way. I also spent a bit long trying to figure out whether Jackal or Narwhal were actually their respective letter. I should have just assumed they had to be correct because nothing else would be.

What the heck is going on in that banner. Ok, I understand the other two challenges where I was the only player to complete it. They were tricky. But this one? I am confused. All the questions except for the Rick Roll face changing could be checked and once that was done it was straightforward. I could never see myself handing in something I know isn't complete. It was a curse in university. But, the pathway involving a bit of an imperfect detour between two of the dots really threw me for a loop and I wasn't 100% sure it was right. I have the app "flow free" on my phone (before it broke rip), and I have enough experience with connect the dots type challenges, so I was pretty lucky there, but it turns out I could have taken all day and still won anyway, so maybe it wasn't luck.

Oh yeah, this one. I purposely threw this one, but I did it in a way where I could take the moral high ground for not being so western centric in what the most important cities in the world are. Narwhals are still the most important sea creature. I think Broseidon is the gay icon on mafiascum at least and would pick him again. Like, basically his entire identity is being gay lol. No regrets there. Infinity Wars still has an awful and uninteresting villain in Thanos.

you want me to spend 15 minutes making a banner for an endurance lite challenge that lasted 2 minutes
it's like you're trying to cause me despair
there's nothing left for me to teach you

Ok, this challenge wasn't the worst endurance challenge I've done. If only because it was short. Next

Ok, back to the good stuff. Although this one I respected as a challenge, I might have lost sleep over this one. Before I went to bed I spend all this time googling different types of bugs, and I feel something crawling on me, and it's like "gyahhhh is it one of those scary centipedes". And then Iie down on my bed and I'm like "gyahhh, do bed bugs really look like that. Do I have any?" I came to appreciate how scary bugs are when made to look bigger. This challenge might be the one that sticks with me for the longest time.
