What a brutal round...I do hope you play more some day, but I understand that feeling.

Getting voted out isn't the problem, I knew I was going to get voted out as soon as the first vote of the merge happened. That's not what turned me off. What turned me off was how everyone treated me the round it was clear I was going home. Suichi and Mikan were still nice, but literally nobody else was. Even in a game where it literally DIRECTLY BENEFITS THEM to be nice to the people who WILL DETERMINE WHO WINS, they can't get over their damn egos, or some shit, and decide this is the time to mock, insult, and belittle you. I want to be part of communities where people respect their opponents. In Chess after the game, you shake the opponents hand and say GG. That's what the communities do. The title of the article says it all: www.channelfireball.com/articles/when-you-disrespect-your-opponent-you-disrespect-the-game/Frankly, I think Hiyoko should be banned for her shit at the end of this game, and people who shit on their opponents should have a time-out. Is it hard to enforce, absolutely. Does that mean it's not worth trying? Absolutely not.

Now that I've been voted out, I am trying to shake people's hand and say GG as it were. I certainly will when the game is done. Apart from not crossing "the line" or attacking people as people rather than players, I'm under no obligation to do so while still as a player in the game. And unless it's for my PMs to Akane if she reports them (which as I've admitted, crossed the line), I don't really think banning me is appropriate.
For what it's worth I think you played fine and if I personally turned you off playing MS survivor, well that's something that will gnaw at my conscience because of course it's all of our obligation to make our community an attractive one.

Like I never really was bitter at you, I knew where you stood. I think you played less than well at times, but many do. I never thought of you as someone that disrespected me or that I needed revenge on or anything like that.

"you're the only person that sent me out with a decently positive impression of you as a human" I'm not even sure who that was directed at. Is that directed at the play of another player, or is that actually an attack at the individual? Seems pretty clear cut to me. Also, seems like you've got a pretty negative opinion of me as a human, after interacting with me for about 2 weeks.
" mikan you're a snaky load of shit"
Hm? What about her play then?
"jury management isn't hard fuckheads i'm not doing it because i don't do anything but get a clue"
This is the first one that's remotely related to play, but even still you're not criticizing their play, you're calling them "fuckheads". What?

"Apart from not crossing "the line" or attacking people as people rather than players, I'm under no obligation to do so while still as a player in the game"
And yet there you were. Attacking them as people not as players.
If you want to apologize, apologize don't sit there and say "oh I never insulted anyone while I was still in the game, except for that one person" when there's tons of evidence to the contrary.

Once your identity is revealed it'll say a lot about the community. I'm gonna see if you've acted like this in the past and what the response has been. Based on how a couple of other people acted there at the end, Akane was one of them and I understand getting personal with her, I get the impression this shit is common and it shouldn't be.

I probably went too far there. I definitely went further than I would normally go, or further than I think it's prudent to go as a decent human being in social interaction. I don't think calling someone a load of shit is like, something that goes beyond the game in that much of a way, but like I can reassure you that what I did isn't representative of the community of a whole and it is disliked by the community as a whole.
But like, at the same time I don't take these grudges outside of the game, I'm not someone that would ever think that someone's bad game in survivor reflects on someone on MS or in real life and that's just what I said in the comment I made just before the votes were revealed. I think your magic the gathering article is totally fair in the context of magic the gathering, where being mean has no strategic or emotional reason, but in a totally social game like this one negativity is going to get expressed. If you want to make up with me after the game when our IDs are revealed, you can PM me on MS or on another platform and I will like, talk it out with you as a human being and respect you as such.

<3 You didn't do anything wrong man. 5 of those votes were set in stone. It was just Nagito and Akane who had options. Nagito decided what he was gonna do pretty quickly. I am assuming Akane was the swing vote here.
If it turns out there really was a secret item I'm going to be soooo pissed.

I've apologised in private to the moderators to making their game worse, and I'm happy to apologise in public here to Mikan, Akane, and everyone else in the game who I insulted, nobody deserves to be insulted that way just for trying to play the game and I know that kind of conduct makes logging onto the forums a negative experience for many.

And if you do want me to get banned, people do and can get banned for toxicity in LSGs, and you should take it up with this game's large social moderator xofelf.

? I thought items weren't allowed that round. And Akane swore she was on a crusade and several people were like yeah yeah she's gone bonkers.
Uh anyway so what happened here? Is this like, what, the power trio + Nagito voting you? Is Kyoko still AFK?

So on the vote you went out they'd said that items with the specification that they could only be used during trials couldn't be used during this one. They said nothing about other items. For example: If someone had an item that said "steal this person's next vote, usable only in a non voting round" and that person had decided to use their vote steal on me, I think that would have worked based on the phrasing.
Oh this last vote with me going home? Suichi and Mikan wanted me to stick around, but nobody else. The big three was convinced I was deadset on voting them out and wouldn't consider the possibility that, despite clearly being in a shitty position, I didn't want to do something different.

Those three are just gonna ride off into the sunset aren't they. Like the Three Amigos only way way less legendary actors and also with worse costumes. I don't get why people are just so happy to let that happen zzz

<3 I missed you Chichi. Everyone was super sad to see you go, but I don't think anyone was as sad as Yasuhiro or me.
About the three, I'm pretty sure there was more tension there than first met the eye, and if you made it to F5 with them I think it's pretty easy to break them up once you get there, but getting there is the tough part.

I completely agree with that: I don't really think they're best friends or like each other that much, my vibe is they both like Gundham and otherwise they kinda stick together for the sake well, everyone assumes they're going to stick together anyway. If I hadn't been so awful to everyone I definitely could have been taken by them if they were the dominant group. On the other hand I think it's really possible that at this final seven a group assembles against them, it's quite free to do so here.

Omg really? I was super worried about your vote because I thought I was super distant to you. I was 100% confident you weren't a real player so I didn't expect you to make it far at all. I thought you were gonna vote for gundham at the very least over me, but probably someone who you worked with on a later tribe.
I'd love to hear your story of the tribe before merge. I heard a lot about it from the survivors, but I get the impression some of it was twisted.
