Monaca is so happy you made final merge! As a result, you are a top contender to be part of the warriors of hope yaaay! More questions though! 1. What's got you feeling paranoid lately? And if you're not paranoid, why are you so cocky? 2. What is by far the strangest thing someone has told you this game? Have you been able to use this info somehow or did it just leave you completely baffled? 3. Are you worried about where you fall on alliance lines? If so, are you planning to switch things up to work in your favor? If not, how long do you think your alliance will last? 4. Do you suspect anyone of lying to you currently? Who and what? 5. Does Gundham winning the first immunity affect your plans? Is there anyone else who you would rather see not win immunity? 6. Is there anyone in game who isn't immune that you couldn't fathom being the next person voted out? Why do you feel this way about them? That's all for now. Until next time.

I'm seriously considering throwing the challenge because I think I'm safe and I don't want to be seen as too much of a challenge threat.

1. I'd be very confident if tribal was in half an hour. But another 24 hours and who knows what can happen. Haven't heard my name mentioned yet. I've heard Hiyoko, Ibuki, Sayaka, and Nagito. My gut instinct is I'm not being tossed around as a vote yet. Hiyoko is the easy vote that people default to if nothing else comes up. Nagito not entirely sure why he's being mentioned, no one has directly told me why, which is concerning because it means I'm viewed as being pretty close with him. Don't want another Kirumi situation. Sayaka is interesting in that she's trying to organize an Ibuki vote as far as I'm aware, and now Akane is hard throwing her under the bus saying Sayaka threw out Celestia's name to her and how Akane now feels so manipulated by her and wants to vote her out. Sayaka might be overplaying idk, but so far there hasn't been much to corroborate Akane's story. It doesn't make much sense. But this drama on Sayaka (even if it's a bit unfair from my perspective so far) makes her a great decoy boot.
Ibuki is the one I'm after. I've been throwing shade on her pretty much the entirety of last tribe for being manipulative and a liar. Korekiyo throwing shade like that in his dying throes was great for me. Plus, other people like Celestia and Kyoko are finally seeing how manipulative Ibuki is and want to take her out too. This Sayaka drama has people concerned, but I need to keep everyone focused on Ibuki. I'm pretty sure Celestia and Kyoko are on the same wavelength. We've got people like Nagito, Sayaka, Yasuhiro joining in I think. Mikan and Chihiro like Ibuki so not sure how they'll feel about her going. Mikan thinks Sayaka is still the vote right now, and it's still a long time before tribal so doing an intense push to see if everyone is on Ibuki right now is bad timing. I need to let it keep flowing naturally.
But I can almost feel Ibuki being voted out. I want to send a message to her right before saying "omg sorry bestie, I wanted to tell u you were the vote but I wasn't online in time and couldn't warn you in time" despite being online before deadline quite obviously. But jury management is a thing I guess so I won't do that. (Assuming we can keep the momentum going against her) This is going much easily than targeting Chihiro. But I have to remain humble and realize that I'm still a pretty minor cog in the wheel that finally is maybe getting Ibuki out. I feel like Kyoko, Celestia, and even Sayaka are even bigger cogs tbh.
2. Sayaka says very strange things to me sometimes. Her questions are just so random and sparse. I'd have nothing for 20 hours, and then a question like "how do you plan to get people to like us" or just randomly start talking about NFL football.
3. I feel like I've got a solid group with Kyoko, Celestia, and Nagito. Not as a four person tribe, but I work with all of them. Sayaka and Mikan are people I have on the side who I can hopefully work with. I feel like I have a really good relationship with Gundham too right now. Yasu I still want to get something more from him, but he is very delayed in responding to me and it's hard to progress far with him right now. I'm assuming he's just busy with 12 people for now. This aint going to last because it's all going to explode soon.
4. Withholding truth from me? Probably everyone. Lying to me? Probably Akane (although I don't hold it against her).
5. No, Gundham winning immunity is fine. I wish I didn't get second. Speaking of which, I really wasn't trying to be that fast last challenge. But apparently I could have taken 24 hours and still won? How the heck did everyone get those questions wrong? I am going to have such a huge target on my back at this rate. I should be happy I won immunity, but I'm not honestly. But I didn't really try to throw it that hard anyway, so I guess I can't complain.
6. I'll go with Kyoko. Kyoko getting booted would be the biggest shock out of everyone still in the game non-immune.

I literally told Sayaka no more drama. We have the momentum on a Ibuki vote. Then she's PMing a huge essay about how she's sorry she was setting up Celestia as the alliance leader to take out Akane to her allies. NOT NOW SAYAKA. Just say you were agreeing with Akane to vote Celestia to keep Akane happy.

Me last night to Sayaka: (slightly paraphrased since I don't know how to multiquote easily) "Everything is good, don't cause anymore drama. Lay low. Maybe talk to and clarify some things with Celestia but that's all." Sayaka: "So here's what happened today. Frankly I totally understand if you decided to vote me out after the shit I pulled today. I did a crazy, unlikely to succeed, play without much reasoning and didn't have the time to communicate it with literally anyone. As a result, nobody has had any clue what's been going on with regards to me. Then I went and didn't respond to messages for about 10 hours, leaving more room for people to simply speculate about all the shit going on. Frankly inexcusable. Here's my understanding of what happened: Akane was trying to do what any sane person would do: sow distrust amongst the other potential alliance. How does she do this? The same way anyone would. You tell people their theoretical allies are plotting against them. I did the relatively natural counter ploy: accept everything they're saying as absolute fact. Buy what they're selling and go along with it completely. Best case, they completely believe you and you've made an unlikely friend. Worst case, you're exactly where you were at the start. The hope was I would get Akane to go public "with me" against Celeste. The going public thing is an excellent play I've made in previous games. Maybe she bought it. She knows I tend to tell people what shit is going on and confront them about it. Maybe she'd believe me and go along with it. If I'm successful, excellent. I'm no longer a target and instead we finally get an easy divide: Celeste vs Akane. I'm confident Celeste and our alliance would win the vote over Akane and we win. Here's where the problem comes: How likely is it I fail, and what happens when it does? I'm super likely to fail. like 95%. I'm not a convincing liar and people don't get this far if they're not crazy cautious. As a result, this was probably the worst idea possible if I was actually interested in convincing anyone, let alone Akane. What happens when it does fail? Akane tells everyone exactly what I was "planning" on doing. What makes matters worse is I had been particularly suspicious of Celeste earlier, and I voiced my suspicions to all of my allies making Akane's statements particularly believable to all of them, making them think I had gone rogue on the entire alliance we've set up. Hooray!" Me: Holy crap don't send this to anyone else, especially not to Celestia. You're going to blow up the issue bigger than it is. Sayaka: Ok I'll trust your judgement. I'll edit it down a bit but I still want to be honest. Next morning: Celestia: "So Sayaka just sent me this long ass PM that she did what Akane said to get the vote to be me against Akane and get Akane out. So... She actually did push me."

Hmmmmm, even if this is a joke, Celestia saying she'll ride my coattails is a little suspicious. Why would she even say that. I might have a good justification for blindsiding her now. Saying she'll ride my coattails is I think a fair enough excuse to a jury for voting someone out.

So Akane, Hiyoko, Sayaka, Mikan, me, and Chihiro all seem to be in a group to blindside Celestia. Everyone is just assuming I'm totally okay with it which is a little weird because I've hinted so many times to most of them that I'm close with Celestia. So I am quite confused why they're all assuming I'm just on board without a second thought. They didn't ask me, they just said "it's all set, let's do it!"
I'm pretty tight with all three of Celestia/Kyoko/Gundham, and was hoping to ride this out a little longer before usurping them. If I vote against one the other two get angry. If I did one, it would be Celestia because I got a flimsy excuse that I could justify it with (she said she was going to ride my coattails). Kyoko is away because timezone, so it wouldn't be awkward talking to him about it leading up to the vote, and I might be able to frame it as him being seen as a power couple with Celetstia. And Gundham is someone I think I can logically get back on my side. He seems very practical and a bit alone. Gundham was feeling pretty alone last vote because no one was talking to him despite people being online, so I bonded with him by pretending to be in the same situation. I think that was enough that I can get away with one blindside on him.
The alternative is voting out Sayaka (even though I'm soft pushing a Hiyoko vote with the other group). But that makes Akane and Mikan angry at me. I've gone against Mikan SO MANY TIMES and if I do it again without voting her out then...... I can't even. Thing is, the Celestia/Kyoko/Gundham/(throw in Nagito as well) group thinks Chihiro is with them too.
So both sides are expecting me and Chihiro to be with them. So we're the swing votes as far as I can tell.
So I tell Chihiro we need to actually work together pretty closely since we find ourselves in such a similar position. And she says "I feel you're earnest, but I don't think Nagito likes me and I know you're buddies with him so that might be awkward in the future if we work too closely" SERIOUSLY CHIHIRO? Now is not the time for that. WE'RE THE SWING VOTES AND WE HAVE TO ACT TOGETHER
Also as I type this, I just realized I have no idea where the heck Yasuhiro fits in this. I legitimately forgot about him.

Hellooo!!! I am Monaaaccaaaaaaaa!!!! One of you has accepted the offer to become a Warrior of Hope! Praise Junko!!! You are so close to the end, yet so far. How many more of you will I offer a spot to? Let's find out! 1. Does Mikan winning immunity change how you were planning to handle this tribal? If so, what were you planning prior? If not, do you have an idea how the current vote is going to go? 2. Are you starting to form thoughts about not only how to get to the end, but who to go with? If so, who and how? If not, what is your plan? 3. Who do you feel has the most influence in game right now? 4. Do you see this game as more alliance driven or are voting blocks (aka small groups of people) forming to vote whichever way is convenient? Have you identified any of these alliances or blocks? Feel free to let the specs know ^_^ 5. Are you starting to think, oh god I really could win this? Or are you still paranoid as fuck? 6. Do you feel safe currently? That's all for now, stay tuned for more interview questions! And remember, death to all adults!!!

I'm pretty sure the stress of the game got to Chihiro. My last message with her was her saying how miserable this merge is, and how no matter which side she went with, she'd be a backstabber. I tried to encourage her by saying we'd be backstabbers together and share the load. :/
Like, I totally get what she's feeling if that's what it is. I felt it during the Sonia vs. Kirumi vote. And the Kirumi vs. Mikan vote. I wanted to just get voted out then. Best of luck Chihiro <3 You're too nice for this game.

Can I be a warrior of hope? So many people are depressed right now. I want to cheer them up.
1. Mikan winning was good. I don't want her going home anytime soon so her winning means her name didn't come up. So where I last left off in the confessional, me and Chihiro were trying to decide a way. Then Hiyoko leaked the plan, and I had to scramble to distance myself from it. No idea how good I did. I don't understand Hiyoko's motive at all. Kyoko thinks the Celes blindside started as something small that escalated and Hiyoko wanted out because she's actually close with Kyoko/Celes/Gundham. I can see her being very close to them, especially since all 3 defend her. But.... Hiyoko literally told me it was her idea to blindside Celestia when talking to her about it last night. So I still don't know. The blow up happened, the vote became Sayaka vs. Hiyoko. I didn't care who went, because me and Nagito and Mikan and Chihiro and Yasuhiro (and maybe Akane) were flipping the script soon, and we could afford some easy votes. Now with Chihiro gone I need to rethink everything.
2. Yep. I was. The plan to get to the end involved riding the Celes alliance, flipping on it with that group, and then surviving the final scerfuffle to get to the end. Nagito and Mikan were both players I see as good final 3 partners right now but I'm far from locked in.
3. Chihiro did. I think again that contributes to her getting stressed. Now I'm not sure. I think it might be Kyoko/Celestia again despite really being in the hotseat this round. I have no idea how I'll flip it tactically or tactfully now that Chihiro isn't here.
4. Hmmm, I think we have one alliance lead by Celestia and Kyoko and it's starting to look much harder to usurp, but I also feel like if this alliance succeeds to the end, I have connections to make it to final 3. I just don't see myself beating either Celestia or Kyoko at this point because they're so hyped up as being the centre of everything. So I'd say there's one alliance, and everyone is loosely a part of it. And there is voting blocs going around inside it trying to purge off unwanted branches.
5. I was starting to think it was possible, but I still have way too long a road to go that I'm not letting myself think that.
6. No, not after seeing the latest HOH twist. But I felt safe last vote.
