Dive deep into your subconscious, and you might be surprised what answers you can find! When in doubt... reason it out! I should make a song about that.
Today we'll be playing Password, but you'll all be able to work together to bring out everyone's hope! You'll each be given three secret words and a turn order will be posted in your tribe forum. When it's your turn, you can either give a clue about your word, or try to guess one of your tribemates' words. Each player's first word has to be guessed before their next one is in play, so just give clues about the one you're on at the moment, okay? You are welcome to organize some kind of method of keeping track of your guesses in your tribe forum, as well as who's on which word. If someone is still on their first word while the rest of you have moved on, it might be a good idea to focus on that word, because everyone needs to finish. Once all your words are solved, you still are part of the turn order and can only guess.
Clue rules
Clues must be one word (i.e. in the dictionary), cannot rhyme with the word, cannot contain the word, and cannot be any form of the word. Synonyms are okay. Proper nouns are not allowed. Clues that break these rules will incur a four-turn penalty and waste your turn.
Guessing
When you guess, make sure it's clear whose word you are guessing. For instance, you might say something like, "Junko's word is despair." Since she is way too into that whole schtick, that would obviously be right, so Junko or a mod will let you know it's right, and her next word will be in play. If you guess wrong, play still passes to the next person. If you guess the wrong form of the right word -- say "drive" instead of "driving" -- that still counts as right.
All official submissions must be bolded. That way, there's no confusion about whether you meant to guess or not. Also, make sure it's clear whether you're giving a clue or a guess! There's no penalty for messing this up, but it will make things take longer. However, you aren't allowed to talk together about what words might be or discuss clues at all; discussion must be limited to organizing and coordinating times for everyone to be on. Discussion of the game will incur a four-turn penalty. You don't all have to be on at once to do this, you have the full time to take your turn whenever you like, but if you are able to coordinate a time for everyone to be around, you'll probably have an easier time of finishing within the time constraints.
Assuming both tribes finish guessing all the words, whichever does so in fewer guesses wins immunity. In the event of a tie, the side with more penalties loses. If this still doesn't resolve things, we will go to a tiebreaker.
Finally, only 5 players from each tribe are needed. Feel free to determine how to do this based on your schedules.
Please try to get this done in 24 hours if possible, but we will definitely give an extension if it's needed.
