Using inspect element is legal. What we want to do is split up pages/threads to have one person check each. Easiest thing to do to check a thread is inspect element then immediately hit ctlr + f and search .png, then what you want to do is write down any imgur links that appear and for every other thread, check the number of those (chances are they copy paste stuff). If there is one that is one too few or too many in a thread with a bunch copy pasted, then that's the one with the special link, check to see if there is a pattern and check everything in that position. I'm assuming they did something similar to us.
