Yep! "Labors of Kirumi" was the name of the 3rd or 4th challenge. I think the fact that I participated in it (only 4 from each tribe did) and my weird history with Kirumi in this game probably helped me get it quicker.

When I voted off Kirumi he actually seemed pretty genuinely sad that I thought he wasn't being loyal, so his stance on not wanting to vote her just because he said he wouldn't...kind of fits, if unusual. I read him as trying to be honest but just not being reliable. I'm happy for you that he seems to have changed tune though. I dunno that I see a reason for him to lie to you that he is doing it, so.

I went to the beach earlier this weekend, and only my face got sunburnt, so I preeetty much look like my character! Did some errands earlier and I'm gonna be making shepherd's pie for a family dinner. I've been spending a while on PMs here too! Gotta prove I'm worth having around.

I miss Mikan, too. I was getting to hear about her from Leon and you but both of those avenues are cut off. I'm hopeful she'll be OK - I think Leon will definitely try to make it work.

Gundham's aware of my side of the story of it, but I don't really plan to talk too much about my history with Shuichi to anyone else until it's more established whether I think he and I can come back from it. I'm not sure it'll be possible but I'm willing to see how it goes. I definitely do appreciate that he chose you and Mikan over Kirumi.

I know Nagito was just on Teruteru's tribe. I think Celeste and Gundham were together initially. I guess Celeste and Nagito were both on Kingpins then, since you've not been their tribemates either. I only know you, Gundham and Shuichi. I wonder who our 8th person will be...I know Kyoko and Ibuki haven't picked yet but I'm not sure if it's only them.

We could make a PM thread but it's kind of fun having ours in a more visible spot so I don't feel like it yet!

I don't think I could see it being a good strategy to do that unless we felt like we were on the bottom already and had few options. But I'm hopeful going into this to not have to resort to craziness hahah. It is a funny idea though, like it would be nice to somehow make that stuff into a positive. Since I don't want to get your hopes up, I do feel like it would probably be safer for me to try to befriend people I haven't met as opposed to trying to work with someone I have a difficult history with. You and I still share a connection in Gundham, who I do like a lot. I think I can work with him a lot more easily when we're not stuck on a tiny tribe together with a bunch of people we like.

But given your experience with Shuichi over there I'm also going to restart lines of communication with him and give it an honest go and evaluate from there.

I appreciate you opening up lines with Suichi again. Frankly I'm more worried about him going all vendetta revenge on you. I'll ask him to keep your history a secret as well, as nobody else knows about it. We'll see if it's useful.

I generally think of crazy plans and decide they're terrible ideas. Too much time playing board games where the optimal strategy is sometimes super off the beaten path.

I just realized this tribe was going to have 2 people from each of the previous tribes in it. That seems like it'll make for an odd dynamic. My initial feeling is that the 4 of us (You, Gundam, Me, and Suichi) are natural allies to work together here. Maybe Gundham and I bring in Teruteru from Masterminds to bring our total up to 5 vs the other three.

I expect Teruteru will be friends with Nagito though, so he might have issues with this giant alliance.

Particularly if our final tribe member is Ibuki I am kind of expecting things to be worse between the two of them, than between me and him actually. But it would make the conflict there pretty impossible to ignore I think. If we end up with Kyoko I think there's an easier path to civility. I also let Gundham know I'm trying to keep it on the DL at least for now so should be OK.

Hahaha well as long as you have the insight to know when things are crazy/you don't jump right into things I think it's generally going to be a boon to have a lot of ideas for how to approach something. I would guess that aspect of your personality might be why your first tribal on your last tribe was hard?

Just so you know, it's my style to try to take my time with figuring out who I can trust when I feel I can. I will try to get to know Teruteru since he's more connected with you guys than most of them so it's a good starting place. I'd definitely like to be in a comfy majority though so I like that you're thinking about where we can fit into one.
