From what I've seen I think Ibuki and Yasuhiro make the most public posts on my tribe, but Mikan has made her own dining area thread and posted a bit as well. (Sonia might've and I may just not have noticed.) Mikan's received votes in both of our tribals as well (3 in the first one, 2 in the second) which might be a reason she'd be put lower by people (probably more by people not on my tribe who hear it through the grapevine than people on my tribe but still). My best guess for who would be most popular within my own tribe is Ibuki. I'm pretty consistently active but I don't post outside of my tribe or here at all.

Good luck in your new tribe! I hope we all make it out of here to be part of a tribe later.

Hey, thanks Sayaka. We're here with Leon/Gundham/Makoto and all 3 of them individually mentioned to me that they got along with you well and don't get why you're "unpopular" haha. Since the mods said honesty was good for most players I pretty much just tried to put answers close to what I thought the average would be. So I put you in what would've corresponded to the third category due to you not posting much publicly and you saying you might be in the low-middle popularity on your tribe. Based on how things went on Mediators your tribe composition seems kind of...dysfunctional to me but I hope that lands you in a good spot at least.
Gundham wanted me to tell you he misses you and that he needs help with the space pirates attacking his convoy.

Space Pirates? ... ...He might need all the help he can get. I had you ranked lower-middle, never thought you'd wind up on the rejects tribe..You're too good for that! I hope it's not all just inactive people over there. And thank you! Let's all live to unite with each other one day!

Oh it's absolutely not all in actives over here. Everyone on my tribe was on the same tribe as Chihiro; Suichi and Kirumi are not pleased with you!
This tribe has been much more interesting than my last one, but that's not necessarily a good thing.
Tell Gundam I've got a fleet coming for him! They might be subservient aliens, but they can pilot a ship!

Yeah, I had good initial impressions of Kirumi and Shuichi but unfortunately saw a lot of red flags with both of them starting around our first tribal. I imagine both of them might have preferred to start fresh rather than end up with two of their old tribemates. I guess on the other hand they might like being reunited with each other?

Welp. Isn't this exciting! I finally am involved in another trial. I feel for my tribemates as I think they've been in an absolute ton of them at this point.

Wait Chiaki? Nooooo Looks like it's just you and me Chirhiro!
What're you up to? How's life with the former masterminds?

Hey, yeah, just you and me now. Glad to see you as it would've been pretty lonely to lose you both all of a sudden. Yeah, Leon, Makoto, Gundham pretty much all came in saying that they liked each other and that made it difficult for Chiaki and I to be able to work together. Fortunately I feel like I get along with them. Gundham's newer to me but I completely see why you thought he'd be popular, he's really fun and creative with his messages, and it was a little easier for me to talk about strategic stuff that's less safe earlier on with him, in spite of me having more history with Chiaki. I did get the chance to have a lot of fun conversations with her about video games and wrestling and such. So I'll take her video game suggestions with me at least...
I hope you're happy enough with the result both here and there? I do like my tribe and so I do hope I'm being taken in as an honorary mastermind. It's pretty obviously going to be better for me to avoid another tribal any time soon to have a better opportunity to get to know them but yeah.
I had a really awful day yesterday so I was pretty unprepared for tribal so I was pretty busy just trying to catch up and make sure things would be OK. Plus it was a little awkward with it looking like the vote was between Chiaki and I, but...I hope this can be an opportunity for us two now. I obviously hoped that you, Sonia and Mikan would make it out, but I understand that you have to do what you have to do to survive. If you feel comfortable talking about it more I'd love to know what's going on there.

Yea. Turns out I was too scared with my last vote. I thought it was going to be between me and Sonia, so I went with Sonia, but the vote was actually between Kimuri and Sonia. From here, if we have to go to another tribal, I'm going to try to get Suichi to vote Kimuri with me and Mikan. Suichi has sounded interested in the possibility of voting Kimuri, but he says he didn't do so last round because he was worried about getting eliminated in the following vote. It's totally possible he was just saying that to get me to vote with him this one round, but that's going to be my plan.
FWIW I think you gotta get your hands on an idol if you possibly can. I'm certain the three of them are going to eliminate you if they get the chance. They were super tight back on masterminds (think I was tight with them) and they've just been solidified by the first vote.
Do you know anywhere to play sushi go online? Tribal immunity is almost as good as an idol for you.

Things were a lot more straight-forward over here. Which is ... potentially bad for me going forward as you've said. I do fully get that on paper it's not great, but I'm trying to be hopeful, work hard in challenges as well as socially and see how far that can get me. If my tribe's in first place and you guys are at TC I think you're especially in a safe position with bringing it to a tie (or using that fact to leverage Shuichi's vote, even). We all have plenty of reason to wanna keep you so. I'm now regretting not emphasizing more that I felt Sonia really didn't feel she could mend stuff with Shuichi/Kirumi if that would've helped you. But it's fully my bad if that is the case; you tried to reach out to me about TC. I guess I thought you knew where I stood more or less and I didn't want to make things more awkward for you by pressuring you when it's your decision and your info's more recent. I'm not aware of it being on boardgamearena or anywhere like that but Tabletop simulator most likely has it.

*shrugs* what's done is done and we just gotta try to keep going from here. I appreciate the control you gave me. Yea info would have been nice, but I'm glad you tried to avoid shackling my decisions. I did what I thought would give me the best chance of making it outta this tribe in one piece. I think I'm going to be successful in that, but perhaps my thinking was shortsighted. I valued getting closer to the people with few connections to other tribes because it makes it more likely they'll stay tied to me after a tribal swap. I probably should have maximized the chance of being in the majority in a tribe after a switch.
I absolutely noted the tie potential. I really hope you guys win the next challenge. Ideally my tribe would just get second so there'll be no worries about the TC, but having the fallback would be nice.

Like...my viewpoint with Shuichi/Kirumi, which maybe they've stepped up their social games after what happened on my tribe and this is less true now, was that it was hard for me to have long-term trust with them for a lot of reasons.
Shuichi copy-pasted the same messages not only to just Ibuki and me a few times, but in at least two cases like half the tribe. We were meant to be allies, I thought we were on the same page about doing a unanimous vote on Toko in our first TC, and then he went and did a split vote plan onto Mikan without letting me know while he knew I was online. Literally all he told me was that he didn't care that much about getting idoled out (but clearly he did?)
Kirumi sounded kind of suspicious toward me when I talked about my preference for the vote at the first tribal, and then said good night while saying she definitely, definitely did not want a split vote. She was awol the rest of tribal and then seemed to have 0 reaction to the split vote, just saying something like, oh it's good when people vote how they say they will. More generally she seemed to kind of overemphasize her closeness with me and it made me wary. I just didn't get the same good gut feeling from my interactions with her as many of my tribemates.
I didn't feel like they were valuable allies to me because even if some of this sketchy stuff was accidental like Shuichi tried to argue to me after Kirumi was voted out, I felt like they'd die early in other swaps due to pissing other people off by not communicating well. I didn't have a good idea of whether they were even taking my alliance with them that seriously, though it did seem like they were in the short term by virtue of other people on the tribe not seeming to like them that much. So that's...my viewpoint, if it helps, even if it's probably belated.
I definitely liked Sonia but had some concerns about her being an eventual social threat/wasn't as certain about her so I'm not, like, angry at you for feeling comparatively wary toward her if that's part of what made your choice. I can frankly empathize, though I still felt closer to her than the other two. My honest opinion's that Mikan's the most valuable ally you have there if you can keep her, but I can never fault you for doing your best to look out for yourself first.

On a little bit of a lighter side note, I just tried out a new gym today (free trial type thing) and it seems worth going back to, so I'm happy about that. Only real concern is that I got really light-headed at a couple of points, so gonna try to eat better/drink more water for next time and see if it helps. Anything new with you?

Thanks for the details of the experience with Suichi and Kirumi. I wouldn't appreciate "allies" going off doing their own thing so such a degree when we'd already agreed upon a plan. I don't blame you for the decision to vote either of them out earlier. I did what I thought would work best, but I'm kinda regretting my decision now. I standby it as the correct one, buuuuut I think it was closer than I thought at the time. I was switching my vote back and forth...

That sounds really stressful (being that unsure in how to vote, I mean). From what I understand the move you did make should at least keep you safe through the next couple of votes over there if there is one. So it's more of an issue of the long-term, and frankly I feel like it can be hard to predict what the actual effect of one early vote can be when swaps and twists can turn out so unpredictably. Maybe you can focus on the reasons that you do feel like your choice last tribal benefits you, while also noting what you want to consider in future votes from what you learned here.

I'm personally pretty exasperated at the moment because I think we were doing really well at round 2 despite not quite finishing (and part of the reason we did well at it apparently helped the winning team be more efficient with round 1, from what they're saying!) What happened with you guys?

Oh no I can imagine that would be super frustrating. Gundham understood it was pretty closely based on the TV show and so because of that I think we were able to understand what we were trying to achieve pretty well. It's a little annoying since I think if Round 2 wasn't cut my tribe would've gotten first, but it is what it is. Good luck over there.

I think I'm gonna force the tie between Mikan and kirumi and hope Mikan is more charismatic and has better relationships than Kirumi.
Congrats on winning immunity for your tribe! How hard was the challenge?

I'm glad to hear that. If you do end up doing that and can't get Shuichi to vote with you I've def got my fingers crossed for the same. Yasuhiro's the only one that really knows both as far as I know and he should def wanna help Mikan.
Ummm...I wasn't that confident going into it cuz when I watch wheel of fortune I generally do worse than the contestants. (I think it might be because I'm younger than the main demographic that watches it though). I pretty much just did it since everybody else was even less confident! But I got it in somewhere around 2 minutes, and so it took the other person a little less than half an hour I guess. I spent a long time today trying to watch wheel of fortune final puzzles to get myself in the right mindset so it's such a relief for it to have ended positively. I started it after they finished so results got posted pretty quickly which was nice.
Actually, if you're not too busy with PMs, you can try it out for yourself haha. You get to pick 3 consonants and a vowel for me to fill in, and then you have unlimited guesses to figure it out (actually if you think you might know it you can try to guess it before you fill in those). Whoever finished first won.
L _ _ _ R S _ _ _ _ R _ _ _
The phrase's "category" is this game.
