We're going to be playing a game you may know as Sushi Go. If you spend your time playing card games like some kind of nerd, anyway. We will run 4 games of 4-player Sushi Go. I don't know who's sitting out yet but I'll put that here later. Here's how it works. Each player begins with a hand of 8 cards. For your turn, all you need to do is select one card. You put this card in front of you and pass the other cards to the next player. You then receive a hand of 7 cards, and so on. It's pretty simple! Your goal is to assemble a collection of cards that will score you the most points! Each game will play three rounds. Here are the cards. Maki Roll (1, 2, 3): At the end of the round, 6 points go to the player with the most Maki Rolls and 3 to the player with the second most. Each Maki Roll card has 1, 2 or 3 rolls Makis on it. Sashimi: Collect 3 Sashimi for 10 points. If you don't get to 3, they aren't worth anything! Tempura: Collect 2 Tempura for 5 points. One alone is worth nothing. Wasabi: The next Nigiri card you draft is worth triple its value. Does nothing on its own. Nigiri (1, 2, 3): Worth the number of points it says on the card -- 1, 2 or 3. Dumpling: Each time you draft a Dumpling, you get 1 more point from it than the last Dumpling you drafted. So 1 is worth 1, 2 are worth 3 total, 3 are worth 6 total (1+2+3), etc. Chopsticks: When you draft a card, if you have Chopsticks on the table already, you may use it to draft a second card as well. If you do, Chopsticks is added to the hand you pass along. Pudding: Does not go away at the end of each round. At the end of the game, the player with the most pudding gets 6 points and the player with the least loses 6 points. The contents of the deck are as follows: 14 Tempura, 14 Sashimi, 14 Dumpling, 12 Maki Roll (2), 8 Maki Roll (3), 6 Maki Roll (1), 10 Salmon Nigiri, 5 Squid Nigiri, 5 Egg Nigiri, 10 Pudding, 6 Wasabi, 4 Chopsticks. At the end of 3 rounds, the scores are tallied. Placements within your game are not important, your score will just contribute to your tribe's score. So make sure to score as many points as you can! However, if a tie could be broken by summing placements within each game, we will use that metric to do so. All 4 games have the same decks and starting hands, and each tribe will have each starting position in one game. This ensures that everyone has a fair shot! It also means that players whose games have started may no longer discuss strategy. We would like to run this semi-live if possible. Based on the availability you filled out, we are going to assemble groups that we hope will be able to find a time to play together. We anticipate this taking up to 2 hours.

uh
I guess?
For some reason I seem to remember someone saying this would take like 2 hours. That would really suck but I guess I could make up the sleep later sometime.

Looks like tonight isn't happening. Monokuma and I have sketchy availability on these days so let us figure that out.

It appears that Gold (and possibly Black as well) cannot field 4 players for this challenge. We are going to change it.

It seems like this game is pretty easy to play over the phone though.

My only main concern in regards to myself is appropriating the amount of time needed for this game. This seems very fun however.

You will be playing a word game known as Figure It Out. For this challenge, you will begin when you contact a moderator. You'll want to coordinate a time to work on this together, since the tiebreaker is time. Only three players from each tribe may participate in this challenge, since, yknow, that seems to be how many we've got. This challenge consists of two rounds. Each round, the players on the tribe will ask yes or no questions in order to try to determine a phrase that the moderators have selected. You will know in advance how many words are in the phrase and it may have a few words filled in (and, or, if, etc). When any word is used in a question, it is also guessed as being part of the phrase and will be revealed if it is present in the phrase. A moderator will give answers to the questions until the other players have correctly figured out the phrase. Then this process is repeated for the second round with a new phrase. In addition, in each given phrase, the mod answering the questions will be posing as a specific person, to whom the phrase relates. The person may be real or fictional but is in some way related to the theme of "Ultimates"...which basically just means they're pretty good at one or more things. You may also ask questions about this person. Questions must be somewhat coherent in order to be accepted and answered. For example, "Are you a musician?" would be valid, as would "Does the phrase have something to do with animals?". A clearly grammatically incorrect string of unrelated words is not a question. Do not copy the dictionary or do anything that appears to be an attempt to game the system. If a moderator deems a question too close to doing this, the question will count against you but will not be answered or count towards the displayed words. You may use google to try and help you determine the phrase. In addition, the moderators have decided on a secret action. Any time the guessers perform this action (it can be saying a specific word, posting at a specific time, or something like that), you will be alerted, and you will get a penalty of one additional guess. The action is the same for both phrases. When both phrases have been guessed, the tribe will be done with the challenge. The two tribes that take the fewest questions (including penalties) will win Immunity, with the other tribes going to Class Trial. The tiebreaker will be the fastest time winning. You have 24 hours to begin the challenge but that's in no way a hard deadline. If you can do it in the morning or afternoon, that would be swell as we have plans after 5:00 eastern, but we'll make it work somehow or make some other schmuck do it.

to those who haven't seen the show: -the phrase will be about something the person does or did -there will be a verb at or near the start of the phrase
