I don't actually hate the social part of it, I'm just not that good at it, especially in a flavour foreign to me.
In the real world I'm actually more extroverted than introverted, but in this format I'm stuck scratching my head because I don't really know what to talk about because it's all anonymous. And if I started talking about my job or my hobbies or asked about them, it might break the rules. Kirumi and I kind of bonded over that because we only really talked game with each other and nothing else.

It's ok to talk about your hobbies though! Sharing stuff like that, that's the best way to form bonds with people. Unless you're y'know the only person in the multiverse who's into Knobkneed Palantino Ponies then I bet your hobbies aren't going to be like super instant ID material. I wanna know more about you Shuichi, let me in!

And, I mean, if you really don't feel comfy with that, um, you can tell stories! They don't have to even be super special stories. Like the one I told in the piano thread? It was just a little thing about the one time I was dumb and thought I could learn something hard even though I don't even know the keys. It's just a little story but, maybe someone will appreciate it? Maybe someone will think, y'know, hey that's fun I got a little glimpse into this guy's world. I know him a little better. He's a person not an obstacle. Right?

I dunno, I find making friends the best part of this game. I'm not sure I could have fun if all I talked about were votes votes votes.... I mean people play differently but, maybe you could give it a try?

Making friends is fun and dandy. It's voting out people that you've gotten attached to isn't It's hard enough voting out people you don't even know that well. (I mean, it's still a little fun voting people out or I wouldn't sign up for these )

That piano story was kind of funny to me personally, because I picked two impressive sounding songs on the piano and learned them, just so I could impress people once and then move on hahaha (similar to your motive it seems.) One was that song I linked in the thread, and the other was the legend Billy Joel's root beer rag. Those are literally the only two songs I know on the piano. I also learned how to do a rubix cube for the same motive lol.


My main hobby in the summer is hiking and summiting mountains. That's why I'm not around this evening actually; I'm going up a mountain with some buddies. Every weekend that works, I get out there. The feeling you get when you make it to the top and see the view is like, "YEAAAAAAAH, I'm literally on top of the world baby!"
Also not a bad vantage point to look for UFOs....
