I'm really not liking how Gundham keeps bashing on Nagito and Shuichi. I think you can present your arguments for your game without trashing your opponents.

I dont want to make you guys do any more work than you already have, that's ok. I'm just curious to see what it looks like because the final 4 seemed to think it was really cool. Seeing it postgame is perfectly fine.

I was trying to help Shuichi with that question and I think he completely missed it.

I'm really going to need Chihiro to clue me in on what made Gundham so appealing because I just don't see it.

Nagito's having a pretty good FTC, much better than Shuichi or Gundham in my opinion, but his second answer to me there was weak. He couldn't come up with any examples of Leadership, even though that was his overall strategy, until F7? Kinda negates that point doesn't it.
I don't think I'm being unfair here, I just want to challenge some of the things they're saying. That Leadership thing was lit up in bright orangey red font for me.

Shuichi completely debunking the growth narrative has really opened up my vote. I dunno what to do here now.

You know what that means right
That means one last pile of Hiro word sludge. One last slam of the lid on this dumpster fire of a game I had where my poor tiny hamster wheel squeaks into motion and I try to reason out what the fuck I'm gonna do. Once more into the breach, dear friends, once more.
After closing speeches obv.

I think I'm still voting Shuichi. I think. Because we were actually allies of a sort. It's weird, in a game where most people had a much lower opinion of me than I thought/hoped, his was actually much higher. When he talks about the circumstances that prevented us from really working together at merge, I believe him. When he says he planned on really starting to ramping things up before I kicked the bucket, I believe that too because he voted to keep me in the game. The main argument against this is that he was (apparently the only one?) loyal to his F3 deal. Ironically I respect the fact that his deal actually meant something to him and he actually worked to see it through, the other two apparently didn't give a crap about it which I just don't understand. I value loyalty, I think he was loyal. The other two were pretty ruthless.
It's a really selfish thing to sit here and say "well the other two voted me out, he supported me, therefore him." But it's a factor isn't it?
He kept downplaying his immunity wins and I don't think he should. Immunity is core to survivor, it's a huge part of the game, they don't spend all that time designing and building those immunity challenges on the show for nothing. Everyone wants to be immune, everyone. Gundham had a couple key immunity wins that saved his ass/granted him power, you can't argue for that and against Shuichi at the same time. Nagito's immunity came via idols but it was the same thing, he stayed safe by being immune, you can't argue for one and against the other. Shuichi's challenge record is impressive.
I hate that he argued against himself in the growth arc ugh. I loved that story. But his real story was as an underdog, and underdogs are great. Mediators and Black tribes were both really difficult times and he pulled through in each. Navigating merge is always hell. He did well in those things. That matters too.
I was going to do one of these for Gundham and Nagito but... I think I just convinced myself to vote Shuichi here. It's hard for me to look past Nagito's utter lack of loyalty. Despite his protests, when you boil it all down I think Gundham was just an imperfect shadow of Celes. Both of their games are just so alien.
Yeah.

That's it! I'm done. It's over.
I don't think I'll be able to make the live reveal so I'll look forward to catching up on things I guess.
Good game all and one last thanks to the mods for hosting.
