Oh and I ended up telling Chihiro. If he's going to sink me so be it. Regardless of whether or not he knew I had something, not telling him would mean every single message I sent after that was a lie by omission. Yes it's stupid and yes I deserve to lose because this paints an enormous target on my back blah blah I know.

If so, are you planning to switch things up to work in your favor? If not, how long do you think your alliance will last? 4. Do you suspect anyone of lying to you currently? Who and what? 5. Does Gundham winning the first immunity affect your plans? Is there anyone else who you would rather see not win immunity? 6. I don't know why she felt the need to play coy when I was the sole person trying to help her. Like I was putting in a ton of time stirring up nonsense to help her and she decided to play that little game in the middle of it, it was really strange. It left me baffled yeah but didn't affect anything. 3. Are you worried about where you fall on alliance lines? If so, are you planning to switch things up to work in your favor? If not, how long do you think your alliance will last? Man I wish I knew where the alliance lines even were. Things feel really fluid right now. I'm not trying to create some superalliance or anything, I'm just trying to bolster the connections I have and I'm trying to connect them to each other. 4. Do you suspect anyone of lying to you currently? Who and what? I think Ibuki has lied several times to me in the past. Her handling of the Makoto debacle is sketchy and her reasons for it were too. Chihiro says she likes to play the middle, pitting factions against each other. Meanwhile she's been pure sugar with me all the time. 5. Does Gundham winning the first immunity affect your plans? Is there anyone else who you would rather see not win immunity? Nope, I never really had any intention of voting Gundham. I'm having a really hard time coming up with "targets". Mikan and Sayaka both asked me that question and I found I couldn't give a good answer. I don't feel like I have much in the way of enemies. 6. Is there anyone in game who isn't immune that you couldn't fathom being the next person voted out? Why do you feel this way about them? I haven't heard a word said against Celes the entire game. I can't imagine her going any time soon. |

It was Sayaka, by the way. She reported back to me saying that she got a lot of people who defended Hiyoko so she isn't going to find her easy boot there. Perhaps she is backing off and damage controlling at this point. I asked around a bit and I don't think she went very far with this to spread it to everybody, but I did get confirmation from Celeste that she did get a PM from Sayaka about this. Celeste told me she thought we had the numbers to take down ibuki. She also told me to be the one to organize the vote because she's gonna be busy today, so I should be the one to talk to people like you who might be on the fence about it. Is it just me, or does that strike you as a way for me to stick my foot into the fire and get a ton of attention? If it's true I'm happy to vote her, don't get me wrong, but that just strikes me as a blatent manipulative move. I trust celwste and I know she's an excellent social player which is why I'm even talking to you. things are bonkers |

I can't really claim to know her motivations. But I did... accidently... kind of... imply to her... that Celeste was thinking about voting her potentially. It's true! She was. She told me Sayaka was in a bottom of the tribe situation despite being with Chihiro. Maybe it was a misplay telling Sayaka that information so it's embarrassing to admit. But at the same time it might have been the thing that set her off which caused her to tank her whole game. So in the end maybe it was a net gain? haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa |

So here's what happened today. Frankly I totally understand if you decided to vote me out after the shit I pulled today. I did a crazy, unlikely to succeed, play without much reasoning and didn't have the time to communicate it with literally anyone. As a result, nobody has had any clue what's been going on with regards to me. Then I went and didn't respond to messages for about 10 hours, leaving more room for people to simply speculate about all the shit going on. Frankly inexcusable. Here's my understanding of what happened: Akane was trying to do what any sane person would do: sow distrust amongst the other potential alliance. How does she do this? The same way anyone would. You tell people their theoretical allies are plotting against them. I did the relatively natural counter ploy: accept everything they're saying as absolute fact. Buy what they're selling and go along with it completely. Best case, they completely believe you and you've made an unlikely friend. Worst case, you're exactly where you were at the start. The hope was I would get Akane to go public "with me" against Celeste. The going public thing is an excellent play I've made in previous games. Maybe she bought it. She knows I tend to tell people what shit is going on and confront them about it. Maybe she'd believe me and go along with it. If I'm successful, excellent. I'm no longer a target and instead we finally get an easy divide: Celeste vs Akane. I'm confident Celeste and our alliance would win the vote over Akane and we win. Here's where the problem comes: How likely is it I fail, and what happens when it does? I'm super likely to fail. like 95%. I'm not a convincing liar and people don't get this far if they're not crazy cautious. As a result, this was probably the worst idea possible if I was actually interested in convincing anyone, let alone Akane. What happens when it does fail? Akane tells everyone exactly what I was "planning" on doing. What makes matters worse is I had been particularly suspicious of Celeste earlier, and I voiced my suspicions to all of my allies making Akane's statements particularly believable to all of them, making them think I had gone rogue on the entire alliance we've set up. Hooray! but why So Celes says she's letting Sayaka live, but her time is short. This isn't what I want, just like Ibuki vote isn't what I want. But I don't really feel like I have the ability to change things here, and taking on Celes seems like a dumb idea. |

That trio did once call herva number to me. They were like "yeah we're the fore, chihiro is just a number we will vote out pretty soon". Kyoko and Celestia both expressed that sentiment. So we can run to her the argument that none of them care about her and she was sixth whereas we are a solid four or something. There's no better way, literally none, to get me pissed off and start getting shit done than to threaten Chihiro. |

I had a rough day at work, I was really having trouble paying attention to anything because I was so stressed about the game. But tonight's felt better so I'm hopeful it'll be ok. I really wish Chihiro was enjoying the game more. There's always ups and downs but these things are supposed to be fun. Part of it's my fault, I've been kinda gamebotty lately because I'm trying to keep up with things and early merge is so hard. I'm going to do better at sending him funny stuff or just non-game things now and then to break the tension. Like today I linked an article about a solar observatory that got evacuated, insinuating it proves aliens exist. Because, they do. Anything that lets him turn his brain off from GAMEGAMEGAMEGAME for a minute He said earlier (man I'm doing a bad job keeping this thing updated) that everything sucks but talking to me and that's so  Like I have to wonder, would he have bailed on this game already if I wasn't here? Does he feel obligated just because he doesn't want to disappoint me or something? That'd mean I'm kind of forcing him to play this when he just wants out and that's terrible. What if a big source of his stress is he knows he has to vote me out because of that stupid advantage? What I'm really hoping is, we manage to wrangle this 6 person thing together, and we vote out Kyoko, and Chihiro feels better about the world because the balance of power shifts in his favor a bit. Hiyoko said recently that both Celes and Kyoko both talked about Chihiro as just a number. I haven't mentioned this because I'm not sure I trust whatever the source of Hiyoko's info is, sometimes it feels like Hiyoko comes up with this stuff in the spur of the moment. Or maybe it's just because it's really really hard for me to picture anyone seeing Chihiro as just a number. Anyway Hiyoko thinks the Power Trio are going to tap us as a final five and bump us off then, meaning Chihiro goes sometime before 5. This move nips that in the bud. I think Chihiro will be ok as long as we don't go after Gundham, there's a real connection there that I don't quite understand because Gundham has been nothing but distant with me but whatever, so I'm trying super hard to push that idea away from people. Though, if this works then I'm sure it'll lead to some really hard conversations for Chihiro, which is just more stress. blah Really I just wish he could relax a little and enjoy things more. I also wish I knew exactly what he wanted, maybe then I could be more useful and he'd be having a better time. I'm not sure he even knows what he wants though. I never thought I'd miss the Mediator days, things were so simple back then. |

So, remember how earlier I was pushing Sayaka for being a liar and a crazy person? Turns out I was totally wrong. Oops. She was telling me the truth and I spent an entire day trying to get her killed for it. Going into the merge, I felt really close with Celeste, and I thought she was my number 1 ally, just like she was on previous tribes, specifically Kingpins and Gold, so I was super excited to start working with her, and when Sayaka approached me saying "Celeste is working against you, don't tell her I said" that triggered my alarm bells and so I ran back to Celeste, freaked out, she freaked out, and told everyone. Then Ibuki got voted off, and I was on the losing side of the vote. Now even though it really sucked losing her since she was really close with me as well, the whole experience did give me a map of people who I could trust based on who was telling me the truth about the vote. Some people like you were kind of unsure, which is fine. Some people told me straight up, the Ibuki vote isn't going to fail. Some people lied to me at the time, knowing that we were close, but explained themselves afterwards, and I don't blame them for doing what they did. If I had known WHY there was this much support for Ibuki, I would probably have given up too. And if it wasn't for this one thing, I still would be rallying for Sayaka's head. Those catagories above that describe how people treated me with respect to the vote fit every single person in the game except for one. Celeste, the person who I thought was my #1. She claimed to be the third Sayaka vote, when I know she voted for Ibuki. She never went back and told me she voted for Ibuki. I'm 100% betrayed by her right now, and I'm just nodding my head and pretending to believe her lies as they come to me. This is incredibly disappointing to me, since we had communicated so well in the past. So yeah! I think she absolutely does treat you like a number, just like how she treats me like a number despite all our supposed closeness. I have no idea who she's really loyal to (Maybe Kyoko and Gundham?), and it just so happens that you are hearing this at a time when there is currently a... $$$ PREMIUM VIP ONCE IN A LIFETIME BLINDSIDE OPPORTUNITY $$$that needs exactly one more vote to send her out of the game, and the two of us can finally be on the same side of a vote. Details available upon request. My "too good to be true" alarm bells are ringing off the hook. Time to play this super cautiously. Sayaka was the one who was supposed to be doing this dammit. |
